For three generations, Pedro Garcia has been making shoes. They are made exclusively in Spain, mainly in the city of Elda, which is famous for its shoemaking industry. Just as many people here in the United States take pride in products made in this country, Pedro Garcia takes pride in being able to have “made in Spain” stamped on their products. For Pedro Garcia, “made in Spain” has become synonymous with “made with quality by our people”. Personally, I really admire that. Of course, it helps that Pedro Garcia makes some very nice shoes! But what about handbags? This company certainly isn’t one that comes to mind when I think of them. I suppose that is about to change though because Pedro Garcia has included them as part of their fashion repertoire! Meet the Pedro Garcia Flat Fringe Bag!
Keep in mind that when I first laid eyes on this handbag, I never would have dreamed it came from a shoe designer like Pedro Garcia. But now that I have thought about it more, I can totally see it! The tote is made of soft suede, just like many of this designer’s shoes. That alone sets this handbag apart from the rest! I also love the full fringe along the bottom and rose gold-tone pyramid studs adoring the straps. This is a casual, everyday style. Yet it looks (and probably feels) so rich!
