Bloomingdale’s put together a collage featuring an assortment of the hottest trends for the spring and summer season in one lookbook guide; The Ultimate Accessory Wardrobe.
What I love about the lookbook is there’s something for everyone for whatever your fashion mood is.
* Browse through the ‘Brights’ for a selection of accessories to liven up your look with color popping hues.
* Jump into the ‘Athletic’ section if you are looking for sporty with a feminine twist.
* ‘Metallics’ aren’t just for the winter season anymore. It’s your moment to shimmer and shine with glimmering tones.
* Keep it ‘Romantic’ with sweet candy colored pastels.
* Check out the picks for the effortlessly stylish ‘Bohemian’ trend.
* Or if you’re looking for stylishly simple and classic, standout in some graphic high-contrast ‘Black and White’ print.
Seriously such a great selection in one guide. There are hundreds of items to discover! Here are a few of my top picks from the Bloomingdale’s Ultimate Accessory Lookbook.

This past year was filled with so many wonderful bags from so many wonderful designers. It is so difficult to choose just one as my all-time favorite for 2012. Lucky for me, I don’t have to. I was told I could have a list of my top picks. Admittedly, this was still somewhat difficult. But I think I managed to come up with four bags that are the best of the best. They are all something I think every bagista should consider adding to her collection. So check out my top picks below. They are listed in no particular order.
Rebecca Minkoff Studded Affair Bag. $425
I absolutely adore my Affair. It is such a sweet little shoulder bag. The pyramid shaped studs and classic flap closure design create the perfect balance between edge and sophistication. I also love the pairing of gold-tone hardware with soft black leather. It is such a great, updated look. This bag looks great with just about any ensemble, but personally I love it with a dressy top.

There are two kinds of holiday shoppers. The kind that gets their shopping done early and the kind that waits until the very last minute. Can you guess which kind I am? I know, I know. There is nothing worse than waiting until the last minute. Sometimes it just happens though. You’re busy doing other things and somehow the holiday season just creeps up on you. Before you know it, you’re staring Christmas right in the face and you haven’t finished your shopping yet! There is good news though. Shopbop.com will still deliver your package by Christmas Eve if you order by 7:00pm (CST) on Wednesday (Dec 19th). So there is still time to pick up some last minute gifts for that special bagista on your list! Still stumped on what to get? Here are some items that you simply can’t go wrong with.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Goodbye Columbus - $298
Every gal needs a great crossbody bag. They are perfect for when you want to be “hands-free”. This bag is gorgeous too! I love the simple flap styling and divided interior. Stylish, yet practical!

There’s a couple of days left to wrap up your Christmas shopping! If you have yet to purchase for that special gal in your life but that designer handbag on her wish list seems out of your budget, why not opt for the reliable and handy comforts of a designer wristlet. There’s a large market for those adorable pouches that dangle off a band or bracelet, every fashion brand including couture designers seem to support the popular arm candy.

This Neiman Marcus x Target Collection is hot stuff right now. NM and Tarjay are collaborating this Holiday season for 1 incredible partnership. More than 50 unique gifts by 24 of today’s hottest designers like Tory Burch, Judith Leiber, Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, Rodarte, Derek Lam, Proenza Schouler and so many more.
Two of my favorite items -both by Marc Jacobs- are this Clutch and Scarf.

When can you ever find a designer Oscar de la Renta handbag for under $100. The answer is never.
Neiman Marcus recently joined forces with Target for the ultimate collaboration. One of my favorite pieces, that’s also on the top of my Christmas list is this gorgeous Oscar de la Renta handbag. It’s not one that I would carry around at this moment but with it’s light beige and white floral design it would be such a killer summer everydayer. And with it’s basic classic silhouette and ODLR quality, it’ll surely last.

The holiday season is here! The malls are packed with holiday shoppers looking for those perfect gifts. Christmas songs are playing on the radio, over and over and OVER again. The smell of cookies and roasted almonds fills the air. But wait, I think we’re missing something here. With the holiday season comes all those holiday parties! What’s exciting about all those holiday parties is that they provide an opportunity to sport a sparkly clutch. So if that special someone on your shopping list loves her holiday parties, a sparkly new clutch might be just the gift to make her eyes light up. Below you will find some delightful choices, all from beloved designer Anya Hindmarch! Check them out!
Anya Hindmarch Twinkle Glitter Two Tone Clutch – $579
This yummy clutch is definitely all that glitters! I love the boxy shape and zipper closure. It reminds me of a makeup bag, only 1000% cuter. The PVC exterior is coated in glitter and the interior is lined with suede. The tassel provides a nice touch as well. This clutch comes in a variety of color combinations, but my favorite is the midnight/plum! Gorgeous!

Do you remember your first designer handbag? There is just something so special about that moment when you hold it in your hands for the first time. First awe, then this overwhelming giddiness. It doesn’t matter how old you are when it happens, the feeling is the same! Recently though, it seems younger and younger girls are chasing after their dream bag. So why not make the bagista in training in your life happy this holiday season? There are tons of adorable options out there that are perfect for teens, tweens, and even younger! Need a little help? No problem! Check out these great styles below. There is a little something for everyone!
Juicy Couture Louisa Crossbody Bag. $88
Is your bagista in training a girlie girl? Nothing would please her more than pink and sequins. Luckily, this delightful piece has both! I love the pretty metallic pink and rectangular sequins. The look reminds me of a 1920s flapper dress. Plus the crossbody strap is perfect for the girl on the go.

The holidays are just around the corner! I know this is supposed to be a happy time of year, but for some reason I have been feeling a little depressed. Perhaps it is because there is less sunlight right now. I always feel gloomy when it is gloomy outside. So I was thinking I needed a little spring added to my step. And what better way to do that than buying a new handbag? Now there is a holiday trend that I think will make the perfect fit. Any guesses? Nothing screams holiday spirit more than candy apple red! I have been wanting a new red handbag for a long time, so what better time than now? And if you happen to feel the same way I do, then I suggest you take a look at this trend. After all, red handbags are A LOT of fun! To get you started, check out the styles featured below!
Tory Burch Bow Envelope in Lobster Red. $275
Nothing is more beautiful than patent candy apple red. It is so slick and shiny, just like a candy apple. I absolutely love it on crossbody bags! The small size is perfect for such a flashy color. Plus I love the sweet little bow on this particular piece. It is just too cute!
