Gucci 1970 Python Hobo

Recently, I wrote about the Prada Cabochon & Rhinestone Raso Clutch and I made a comment about how Prada had sort of fallen off my radar. Prior to seeing that clutch, nothing Prada had been putting out was doing it for me. I think the same thing has been happening with Gucci. Nothing really has that “wow” factor and the designer just hasn’t been on my radar. Well, until now! Yep, I have finally stumbled upon a Gucci bag that made my jaw drop! Meet the Gucci 1970 Bag in Python!

Holy cow! This bag makes me droll just by looking at it! I love the simple hobo shape. It’s a classic look you can never go wrong with. I also love the gold tone plates accenting the upper corners and gold tassel. The chain strap adds just the right amount of edge too. Plus I like the leather shoulder piece the strap has been threaded through. It makes carrying a load much more comfortable! What really caught my eye though was the python exterior. It looks so luxurious! But if you’re not feeling the whole python thing, you will be happy to know this bag is also available in nubuck. There’s definitely no resisting that velvety feel!

I haven’t heard about Gucci in a while either. Their bags are a little out of my range though

I saw someone with this bag in the crocodile and it was so unbelievably stunning. One of those bags that you really don’t get the beauty of until you experience in person.
