Gucci Handmade
We’re bringing Gucci into the spotlight with one of the best looking satchel in a while by the Italian House. According to Gucci sources, this large satchel is said to be ‘handmade’. If that is in fact accurate, then this satchel counts for a lovely Italian artisan piece.
Such striking details that reflect off this large beauty, starting with its rich brown leather body. My favorite feature of all has got to be the remarkable braided detailing that is found towards the lower bottom of the satchel. The twisting patterns give character to what would have been a simple looking bag and fantastically braided top handles gives off the perfect finishing touches to a bohemian-chic style bag that’s sure to occupy closet space for many seasons to come.
Gucci tends to be a name that doesn’t really follow the popular accessory trends of the moment, and as this satchel doesn’t reflect any of the of the latest fads. But it’s that belted flap closure that’ll remind the knowledgeable Bagista of the French Couture name of Hermes and their infamous Birkin bag.

There was no machine used at all during the process? I kinda find that hard to believe…
.. look at the stitching. They probably just mean the woven part is “handmade”.. I’m not sure. Still doesn’t justify that price tag. Ouch.

If I had all the money in the world, yes. But this bag will probably hit the sale section for 20% less.. then it will be on ebay for 70% off. Would rather get a classic Birkin.
This bag is sooooooooo gorgeous!!! I love the luxe leather and braiding. It’s bigger than I use and also out of my budget. WOW! So nice.
I am not a fan of Gucci. For me, they are the same old, same old.
With that being said, I love the bag. It’s beautiful. But, I would rather have a Chanel. Or a Marc Jacobs Stam. Or a YSL Roady in animal.
