Summer is here, and nothing is better than strutting on the beach in style. I live in South Florida, and every year it seems that designer beach goods are becoming more and more popular. Everywhere you look in Florida fashionista’s are purchasing designer swimwear, towels, sandals, and even beach bags.

One of prettiest beach bags I came across was the Milly Della Fonte Beach Tote. The beach bag is so colorful, that it scream Summer. Everything from the hardware to the floral print make this bag look beautiful.

What I love most about this bag, is that it doesn’t look like your everyday beach bag. I would use this bag for the beach, but I would also use it as a tote. It looks like a bag someone would take out of their closet and use anytime during the Summer, not just the beach. Another cute feature about the bag, is the adorable matching zipper pouch that comes with it. It matches the bag perfectly and is definitely an added bonus to the already stunning beach tote.

The only downfall about this bag, is it you do decide to use it at the beach the sand could become a problem. Usually beach bags have little holes in them so that most of the sand can come out before you put your bag back into your car. There are no holes on Milly Della Fonte Beach Tote, so you may have to do some serious cleaning to it once you leave the beach.

I have always loved Juicy Couture’s canvas totes. They are so big and spacious that you can fit so much in them and still have so much room. They are definitely ideal for a college student who has to carry so many books, notebooks, and a lap top. Another plus to this tote is that is has a magnetic closure. I have seen many Juicy Couture totes in person, and I don’t remember ever seeing a magnetic closure on one. A magnetic closure is definitely an added plus to the already gorgeous Juicy Couture tote.

Some details of the tote include having interior pockets and logo print lining. Also, if the tote ever happens to get dirty from everyday wear, that’s ok because it can be machine washed! The tote comes in a gorgeous magenta-like color and has the saying, “From Juicy With Love” on it. If you are looking for a simple but yet stylish tote, this is without a doubt one of the cutest totes I have seen in a while!

The Juicy Couture Generation Y Canvas Tote can be purchased at Nordstrom for $78, which I think is a great price for this tote. The tote may be on the simple side, but it is a designer tote. For a designer tote, that’s fashionable and cute it’s definitely worth the money!

Most of the time, Bag Bliss readers will hear about how much I love the Spring and Summer months. While I do enjoy the nice weather and the fact I’m not freezing my butt off 24/7, there is actually something I don’t like about Spring. What is it, you ask? Getting back into a regular workout routine! During the winter months, I seem to have little to no motivation to exercise and it is so hard to get started again once you’ve stopped for awhile. Oh well, nothing a little bit of bribing won’t cure! Let’s see, a new bag maybe? Wait, what about a new gym bag? Something that is not only stylish, but functional as well!

Introducing the Adidas by Stella McCartney Zutan Gym Bag. This nylon bag is perfect for carrying around all your workout necessities. And, best of all, it doesn’t look like a gym bag! My favorite feature is the zip-around flap opening on the top of the bag. It’s perfect for giving you easy access to larger-sized items inside the bag. I also love the cute little drawstring pocket on the outside. It would be perfect for holding your keys or cell phone.

In case you aren’t aware, Y-3 is the collaboration between Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and the athletic giant, Adidas. With that kept in mind, I finally get their sporty yet fashionable designs among their goods and accessories. I never found their bags to be too attractive. I apologize to any fans out there, but black nylon on a typical silhouette isn’t all that fun. Fortunetly, Y-3 is expanding their look from the basic nylon to fresh designs with lots of color.

Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag is a perfect example of this. It’s so different and fun. Here we have a circular shoulder bag in white and red patent leather, that’s definitely spring/ summer ready. I think this is cute, but would I give into this bag? I most definitely wouldn’t. It’s not my style and besides appearance and quality, I also seek comfort ability in a handbag. Round shoulder bags aren’t necessarily perfect for everyday wear, I can just picture sitting this down and the bag see-sawing or rolling away a short distance. Ladies, what’s your input on this piece?

Man Bag, Mag, or simply Travel & Luggage. Whichever you choose to call it, men all around the world are preferring to carry their essentials in a roomier compartment other than their pant pockets. In my area, the messenger styled bag wins the popularity contest, and over at Saks (dot com), they carry even more styles to choose from.

Up first is the messenger styled bag, the Prada way. Prada presents their version as causal and definitely masculine. I really like the combination of Prada nylon with rich leather and the variety of colors are appealing, yet allow this piece to match with almost anything.

For the trendy man, Gucci presents their latest duffle in one of the hottest colors right now, Cobalt. It’s got double handles, vertical zippers, and silver tone hardware, and seriously, how striking is that hue!

Got a crave for logos? Gucci’s classic GG logoed duffle gets a makeover with vintage inspired orange/khaki/white leather trims. Luggage tag, removable strap, lock and keys are included with this piece.

Last but not least, the perfect accessory for Mr. Sophisticated. Yves Saint Laurent presents the Muse Travel Bag and wow is it gorgeous! It’s rich, large, and made of Buffalo leather. Yeah, I won’t be surprised if some of you gals pick this up for yourself… you know… to travel and stuff.

Puma Runway Grip Bag
If you want a “Speedy-like” handbag at a more affordable price I have found the perfect handbag that is also quite beautiful! I present the Puma Runway Grip Bag and I must say this handbag is stunning! I consider Puma to be a casual/sport brand and for them to come out with a handbag this fabulous is kind of shocking. Only huge downfall about this handbag is that it is a faux-leather handbag but if you favor the no-killing of animals for handbags you may just love the Puma Runway Grip Bag! The handbag comes with a detachable, adjustable shoulder strap, gold hardware, has plenty of room with its height of 14 inches and length of 17 inches and it even has a Puma logo plate on the front of the bag. The Runway Grip Bag comes in two different colors: white and black. Both colors are fabulous but my favorite is the white! Yes, the white would be a maintenance problem but if this handbag was real leather I would snatch it up in a heart beat!

The Puma Runway Grip Bag retails for $120, but it is currently on sale at shopbop for $60. Not a bad price but, for something that isn’t real leather, I’m not sure I would even pay that. Besides the faux-leather, everything else is a plus with the Puma Runway Grip Bag!

PUMA Campus Grip Bag
Kick it to the gym old school with PUMA’S Campus Grip Bag. We’re approaching that time of the year where we tend to bend the diet a bit and give the gym routine a day off, or two. I’m telling you girls; some of us do let the holiday sweets get in the way of our will power! As for me, I plan to discipline myself in staying focused and strong during the holidays, and something that always works for me is buying new workout gear, and of course, a new bag leaves no exceptions! I personally didn’t pick up this Puma bag, but this piece is pretty cool. I get that vintage and sporty vibe off this satchel, yet it pretty simple as well. I love the large 11” x 20” x 6” dimensions, making it roomy enough for at least all of my gear. I must state that the material of choice is in fact pebbled faux leather, which left me just a bit disappointed. What’s my favorite thing about this piece? It’s definitely going to be the $60 price tag. Large and under $100 bucks, that’s good enough for me. As I have quite a collection of gym bags, I probably won’t be buying this PUMA, but if you seek a new edition, you can find this piece in Black or Metallic Silver, at shopbop.com!

The Fossil Collegiate Handbag Collection
Uh oh, football season is upon us again! All those football fans flooding into the malls to shop while they wait for the game to start. And then once the game starts, all of those people asking you what the score is when you have absolutely no clue. I’m sure I’m not alone here on this. But I also understand that there is another point of view when it comes to football. So all you football fans out there, this blog post is for you!

Introducing the Fossil Collegiate Collection. These are handbags and accessories that allow you to show your team spirit without having to wear a football jersey. Harajuku Lovers Bishoujo Athletic Bag
Any Harajuku Lovers in here? We’re all familiar with Gwen Stefani’s fun and affordable pieces. Meet one of the latest styles made especially for her line, the Bishoujo Athletic Girls in red. Gwen’s Harajuku Lovers line isn’t something extremely popular, or at least it isn’t in my area. Occasionally, I’ll sight a tote or two at my local mall, but the smaller accessories such as the makeup bags and coin pouches are a lot more popular to spot around. Gwen directs this piece to you gals who want to break a sweat with style without having to splurge so much on a gym bag. The cute Bishoujo girl’s attire of choice is her workout outfit, which isn’t too flattering if you ask me. A deep red canvas and an actual whistle can be found on this nicely sized tote. I love the $58 price tag, which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Would I spend that much on this tote? Probably not. It really isn’t something I could see myself using. If I were looking for an affordable tote bag with a cute character on it, I think Miss. Marc (MbMJ line) would win my vote over a Harajuku girl, any day. What do you girls think?
