side note: If you haven’t heard, the rumor circulating throughout the fashion industry is that there may be a new addition to the Marc Jacobs Family. Rumor has it that Marc-y Marc may come out with a third fashion line – not more expensive but a much cheaper line. Well, I don’t see how he can go much cheaper than this. You all know, there is the Marc Jacobs line which is on the pricier side ($700 to $1500 average for a handbag), then there’s the Marc by Marc Jacobs line ($100 to $500 average for a handbag), then on the super cheap side there’s the Special Items ($10 to $70 average for a handbag). Now I can’t imagine Marc-y Marc coming out with a line cheaper than that.

New Purse Alert: Dooney & Bourke Donegal Handbags
The Donegal handbag line is one of the newbies from the DB giant brand house. Actually it was released around the same time as the Jumbo Collection made its debut. But unlike the Jumbo collection, this one does not rank very highly in my mind.

The saddle bag pouch motif image design is boring and the hobo style is nothing new to the brand, it’s one that they use over-and-over every season only with a new dress. I do admit though, the sac shape is pretty comfortable and rests well on the shoulder, but besides that this bag really has nothing to offer – style-wise.

Spotted: Sometime during the early hours of Friday, Sienna Miller was spotted at LAX airport leaving Los Angeles. The bag which by the way is perfect for the traveling occasion was the oversized Chanel Cabas handbag in distressed bronze washed leather.

Pictured above is the Mirior Speedy in gold from KarenKooper. I admit, when I first ran across this collection I wasn’t that impressed and when I saw Janet Jackson sporting the Gold Voyager Alma I wanted to barf, but when I saw a picture of the Speedy, wow my feelings have changed . . . I sort of like the Speedy (in gold). I guess my opinion will be finalized once I see the bag in real life.

It’s time for a workout. What bag will you bring? Reese Witherspoon headed off for her daily workout toting along non-other than a super cheap Abercrombie and Fitch tote, which btw you can currently find on eBay for around $10 to $30. I don’t mean to be impolite by calling Abercrombie and Fitch super cheap (as I sit here in my Ezra Fitch cashmere sweater). The bag is just plain cheap chic. They are suitable for a gym bag, beach tote (that’s when I used my Abercrombie logo “A and F” tote), overnight bag or just as a casual day bag.
