About the Bag: This is rare opportunity to purchase an original vintage Hermes luggage. This piece was entirely handmade by top French craftsman in Paris in the 1950′s, approximately during the time of the first production of the Kelly bag named after Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco. The elegance of 50′s fashion will never fade with new trends. The unique piece is made of horsehair canvas and bordeaux (rouge Hermes) leather trims. All original Hermes markings on hardware were engraved by hands. “Hermes Paris 24 faub ST Honore” and number “0123 5″ are embossed on a leather piece inside. It is a fabulous conversation piece to have at home, or it may be used on your travel as it is still in very good condition. A new one will cost more than $5,000 today. There’s no key to lock the luggage, but everything is in great working condition. Don’t miss out the rare chance to own a part of the history of one of the greatest fashion icon of the century. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with little sign of wear.
