Jennifer Haley Hobo Shopper

Who is Jennifer Haley? I have never heard of this designer, yet several celebrities have been photographed carrying her handbags. After taking a quick peek at this designer’s official website, I learned that Jennifer Haley Zeisler produced a number of fashion and charity events in places like New York and Miami. At some point, she decided to launch her own handbag line and found inspiration in her grandmother who was a huge influence in her life. Her designs are refined and simple. Plus all her handbags are handmade here in the United States. So far, I like what I see! But there is one style that really caught my eye. Meet the Jennifer Haley Hobo Shopper!

The City Hobo by Tory Burch

It may still be scorching hot in your neck of the woods, but it’s evident in the world of Fashion that Fall is right around the corner. Soon it’ll be boots and sweater season, and arriving along the cool climate apparel are the dark and luxurious accessories.

Personally, I can’t wait to see the lace and the mauves, and of course the various versions of black accessories. A little darkness on the arm doesn’t have to be somber, instead, consider it a safe bet. For that reason, most of us gals have multiple black handbags in our closet and adding one more this season for that moments sake might not be such a bad idea.

Cynthia Vincent Dunnaway Colorblock Satchel

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent is described as feminine, hip, and confident. When people hear the name, they probably think of the clothing line. Comfortable and sexy, her clothing pieces (I love her dresses!) are every girl’s dream. But handbags… yes, she does handbags as well. What an odd mix they can be too! She has everything from bright prints to neutral colorblocking. Speaking of colorblocking, I want you to take a look at this satchel I came across today. Introducing the Cynthia Vincent Dunnaway Colorblock Satchel!

Lauren Moshi Polly Lace Skull Heart Fringe Tote

Lauren Moshi certainly makes some cute prints. If you read my post about the Lauren Moshi Leopard Tee, you will see that I have sort of become a sucker for her stuff lately. What really intrigues me is how a lot of her prints are images within images. The leopard’s spots, for example, were actually little skulls. Pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. That is probably why the Lauren Moshi Polly Lace Skull Heart Fringe Tote was so quick to grab my attention!

Blumarine Mongolian Fur Hobo

Okay, so it is the middle of summer. This really is not the time to be discussing fur handbags. Ugh, they make me feel hot just looking at them. But I stumbled across a handbag that had me doing a double take today. Scratch that… a triple take! You just don’t come across a handbag like this every day. Check out the Blumarine Mongolian Fur Hobo!

Cleobella Sundora Slouchy Sling Bag

I like structured handbags, that is for sure. However, I have always had a soft spot of slouchy hobos as well. There is no better accent to a casual look than a soft and smooshy shoulder bag that hugs the contours of your body. But what happens when the hobo slouches so much it isn’t really a hobo anymore. Take a look at the handbag I have pictured here and I think you will see what I mean. Meet the Cleobella Sundora Sling Bag!

RED Valentino Perforated Hobo

I always tend to have a soft spot for polka dots. I’m not sure why because polka dots seem kind of childish or clown-like to me. With that said, I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I would love the RED Valentino Perforated Hobo. I’ve never seen black polka dots featured on black leather before and I’m digging it! It’s different and looks amazing on this bag!

What I love most about this bag is that it’s slouchy. These type of bags are perfect for people, like me, that pretty much throw whatever they can find in their room. I kid you not, I put tons of makeup, wallets, hats, magazines, water bottles, snacks and even flats in my bags. So the bigger the bag, the better for me! Oh, and the zip side pockets are a huge plus! You can put hidden treasures that get lost easily in them, like lip gloss, a compact or your keys!

Sondra Roberts Woven Hobo ~ a Bottega Veneta Look-for-Less!

Interwoven leather fans know that this appealing technique on a handbag always comes off as feminine, striking and makes a great alternative to your typical leather accessory. I’m a fan of such textured accessories, they instantly up-notch your typical classic leather tote bag. No logos or flashy hardware is needed on these heavily textured pieces; the simple admiration of this technique is enough to draw bag-loving stares directly to its design.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Revolution

When it comes to Marc by Marc Jacobs handbags, I cannot help but envision bright colors and whimsical styles. While it is true that Marc’s diffusion line has a tendency to be a wild and crazy at times, this rule does not apply 100% of the time. Remember the Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock Teri Tote? It was such a huge hit over on TBF just a few short years ago. The appeal? It was trendy and casual, but it was something that could fit in easily with your everyday wardrobe. Plus it had that awesome double compartment interior, perfect for keeping you organized. Well… I think it is about time we had our next “Teri Tote”. Guess what! I may have already found it! Introducing the Marc by Marc Jacobs Revolution Hobo!
