Alexander McQueen Cites Chanter Python Hobo

Not too long ago, I wrote about Cobalt Blue for The Fashion Row. It is such a gorgeous color! What a wonderful way to add a splash of color for your Fall wardrobe. In the post, I featured some of my favorite clothing items for the color trend. While these pieces were wonderful, I realize some people just aren’t THAT brave. After all, cobalt blue is a very bold color! But I think even the most color-phobic gal can handle a cobalt blue accessory — especially if that accessory is a handbag. And boy do I have a cobalt blue handbag for you! Check out the Alexander McQueen Cites Chanter Python Hobo!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Patent Rue Bag

Ever since I was little, I always heard my Mother say how much she hated Patent leather. She always complained that it gets easily scratched and that the shine goes away rather quick. I guess, because of her despise for patent leather I grew up loving it. I actually prefer patent leather over any other type of leather. To me, it’s flashy and fun! Patent leather is a blessing in disguise, because if your bag gets dirty you can easily clean it! Sounds pretty amazing to me.

Elena Ghisellini Lara Raccoon Bag

Remember the Louis Vuitton Fox Tail Clip from Spring 2010? I remember the conversation that went on over at the Bag Forum. You either loved it or hated it, there really was no in between. So when I stumbled across the Elena Ghisellini Lara Raccoon Hobo, my thoughts went straight to that conversation that took place over a year and a half ago.

Sequoia Kayan Bag

I always use to be a fan of satchels. They were always my go-to bag and I even bought quite a few of the Louis Vuitton “Speedy” handbags because I loved them so much. Literally every bag I bought was a satchel and I never considered shoulder bags.

As I got older, I realized wearing heels everyday and having a satchel adding to my back pain wasn’t ideal. After a while, satchels can get very heavy especially if you carry a lot in your bag. Now, I’m more of a fan of shoulder bags. Doesn’t hurt my back as much and they don’t seem to be to heavy.

Botkier Trigger Hobo

Since its creation in 2003, the Trigger has been the “face” of Botkier. It is the style that launched the handbag line and will forever be an icon. And like many other iconic pieces, the Trigger has evolved over the years. First, the original satchel style was made available in two different sizes. Then the style morphed into minis when Boktier introduced the Trigger Moto Cluch and Trigger Clutch. Finally, a fourth member was added to the Trigger family. Meet the Botkier Trigger Saddle Bag!

Burberry Belted Hobo

The statement trench coat. The statement check bag. Two items that are synonymous with the Burberry label. The Burberry Belted Hobo takes both of these items and wraps them up (literally) in one amazing bag.

Jason Wu Bag Collection

Jason Wu is a newcomer to the world of fashion. The young (He’s only 28 years old!) fashion designer launched his ready-to-wear collection in 2006 and won the Fashion Group International’s Rising Star award in 2008. He was also nominated for the Vogue Fashion Fund award. But if the name still isn’t ringing a bell for you, he is also the designer that designed Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown. Yes, that gorgeous white dress she wore for her first dance as First Lady! Jason Wu, however, did not stop with his gorgeous garments. Just this last spring, he added handbags to his collection! These pieces feature simple shapes and clean lines. Very chic! And if you ask me, Jason Wu’s handbags are just as gorgeous as his clothing! The collection includes clutches, crossbodies, shoulder bags, and satchels… there really is something for everyone! Below are a couple of my favorite picks, check them out!

Ember Skye Shelly Bag

At first glance, I would have sworn that the bag you see pictured here is by JJ Winters. Just look at all that fringe! And for some reason, I have become hardwired to believe lot’s of fringe automatically equals JJ Winters. I was surprised to learn, however, that this bag was not made by JJ Winters. It is actually from a designer called Ember Skye. Introducing the Ember Skye Shelly Bag!
