While doing my yearly holiday shopping I came across the Diane von Furstenberg “Zip Around Python Wallet” and instantly fell in love.
The exterior is made of python-embossed cowhide leather, that’s right, no adorable little snakes were hurt in the process. But what really first caught my eye is the gorgeous turquoise green color called “Reef” – it’s the same color as my Essie “Turquoise & Caicos” manicure. The color is so pretty!

I’m sure it comes as no surprise when I say my favorite handbag of 2011 was by none other than Michael Kors. In the past two years I have went from loving multicolored handbags to being obsessed with black leather handbags that feature gold hardware. Every time I see any type of handbag in this color combination I literally squeal!
When Michael Kors released the “Joan” satchel, I was instantly in love. Yes, it wasn’t my typical color combination of black leather and gold hardware but it was truly a beautiful bag. I’ve always been one for satchels and the style of this one was impeccable. The “Joan” really gives off a classy and sophisticated style and because of that I fell in love with it.
I don’t deny that I love classic handbags. I love the sleek lines, tailoring and the never-go-out-of-style security that when I buy a quality bag, I’m going to carry it for years. So, it was incredibly difficult to narrow down my choices for classic bags for giving. These are some of my favorites and they show that classic isn’t boring!
Gucci Diana Bag
A beautiful classic bag featuring Gucci’s timeless bamboo handles features this striking cobalt blue. I’m completely obsessed with this color and don’t think I will stop for a long time to come. A couple years ago, the color “cobalt” was everywhere. Every designer got in on the trend especially when it came to handbags. I don’t own anything cobalt, as it doesn’t match my wardrobe at all, but I will admit it’s a gorgeous color.
It seems that cobalt is back when a vengeance. Just today, I spotted a bunch of Michael Kors clothes in cobalt and now I see Clare Vivier has designed a simple but stunning “Fold Over” clutch in the popular color. I always agree with the saying, “Less is more” and that’s exactly what Clare Vivier did with the “Fold Over” Clutch.
As the season approaches, there will be plenty of holiday parties from casual to formal. You’ll need a showstopper clutch (or two) to add life to the party! Check out some of my favorites this season!

Michael Kors is pretty much my favorite designer. I love almost everything he comes out with and he is the king of the black leather and gold hardware combination, which we all know is my favorite.
When I was wandering around the mall today, I came across this Michael Kors Tote and I instantly fell in love with it. It reminded me of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bags, just priced a lot more affordably and came in a variety of colors.
