Kooba Jackson Satchel
Last year around this time, I had the honor to interview, Kooba founder, Abbe Held. I went to college for Journalism, so I’ve interviewed quite a few people before but never a designer. Let alone, a known and highly successful designer. I remember before the interview I was so nervous! Not because I was afraid to mess up but because I was about to talk to someone who founded one of the most popular designer handbag brands. It was one of the biggest interviews I had ever done, so I think it’s natural nerves would set in. Ms. Held was lovely to talk to and made me feel very at ease. It was as if I was talking to a great friend and now I can see why her brand is so successful. Good things happen to good people. Karma blesses those who are kind, and Ms. Held was definitely kind to me.
Ever since the interview, I became a lover and a huge fan of Kooba. From the leather, to the hardware all the way to the vintage look, Kooba is simply fabulous. When I came across the “Jackson” on Zappos, I was instantly in love. Black leather handbags are my favorite and the “Jackson” has just rose to the number one spot on my wish list.
I absolutely love the entire look of this bag. It classy, sophisticated but it also has some edge to it.I’m usually not a fan of handbags that can be carried by either double handles or a shoulder strap. However, the dual feature looks stunning on the “Jackson” and I would use the handbag both ways!
This handbag is beautiful and I would personally use it all year long. It’s versatile and can be used whenever you want. Day or night and any season, the purse is gorgeous and flawless. I’m a huge fan and I wish I could buy one right now! A girl can dream! Bravo Ms. Held on another stunning design.
You can purchase the Kooba “Jackson” at Zappos for $475.
