Les Petits Joueurs Lego Bags
Les Petits Joueurs (The Little Players) by Mariasole Cecchi, a 23 year-old accessories designer from Florence, Italy is a bag designer that I recently discovered while browsing LuisaViaRoma. What caught my attention at first glance were the 80′s inspired designs of the Colorblock and Piano clutch, but then on further examination I saw that the design of these bags are actually made with real legos. Pretty unique huh? I’ve never seen anything like it.
In a recent interview with VogueItaly, designer Mariasole explains her passion for creating lego purses: “One day I was cleaning out my closet and I found an old bag I had been very fond of. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to apply Legos, forming the word ‘Love’. That night, I wore it to a party and it was a success, everyone was charmed by it. People asked me for one just like mine. Then I made the piano-bag, and the same thing happened again. So in the end, I decided that all of this could be a business. And so here’s my line: Les Petits Joueurs (The Little Players).

I would totally wear the colorblock clutch!
Interesting but not my style
Legos? lol. I like the pattern and the idea is something unique.
I love the idea but I’m not sure how I could pull it off.
As a teacher and mother, I appreciate the creativity. Is this the same person that did Fergie’s Lego Dress at the Nicklelodeon Awards? Now, that was a creative and wearable design.
If one is confident enough, they can pull off anything. This would look great with your little black dress.
