Miu Miu Dragonfly Clutch
So how do you ladies feel about bugs on bags? Are they pretty? Or creepy? Or pretty creepy? LOL! Pictured above is the Miu Miu Dragonfly Clutch from the Spring 2008 Collection. The clutch features a whimsical dragonfly on the front in pretty hues of pink and lavender. Plus python inserts were used to create some texture and depth. Interestingly, I just now discovered that this clutch also features a metal fold-away handle and a shoe-string strap while browsing over at Net-A-Porter. Its funny really, there have been many times I’ve seen pictures of this clutch and all that time I never noticed it. Oh well, I guess its a good thing that Net-A-Porter provides such detailed pictures, huh?
So you ladies haven’t answered me yet (well, actually you probably have). How do you feel about the dragonfly? Personally, I don’t think this clutch is horrible but I don’t think I would be brave enough to carry it either. I don’t know. I guess it is better than, say, an octopus! So I guess whether you like bugs on bags or you don’t, you certainly have to hand it to Miuccia Prada for her creativity!

It looks so pretty.
I just don’t like it. The colors are nice for summer, but the whole “butterfly” look is not for me. Also, what’s with the rope strap? Doesn’t that make it look sort of cheap? I would prefer a super thin leather strap on my evening purse.
Very super pretty, not something I would wear though.
