I love What Goes Around Comes Around! Well, most of the time. I love it when they have hard to find vintage items in excellent condition. You don’t have to worry about authenticity and you don’t have to worry about dealing with shady sellers on ebay (no offense to the honest sellers on ebay). What could be better than that? Yet, something about What Goes Around Comes Around just boggles my mind. If the item is really rare, I can understand paying more for it. This is especially true for highly coveted limited edition items. What really irks me — and I’m sorry, but I have to complain — is when they have something that you could buy brand new for less money. Take this Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Speedy 25 Bag, for example.
I love the Damier Azur collection. I really do! When the pattern was first introduced, it was very popular. It is still very popular today. So when I stumbled upon this piece being offered by What Goes Around Comes Around, I was expecting it to be priced accordingly. After all, it is a used handbag. Well, I was wrong. This baby is selling for $1050! Hello? You can go to Louis Vuitton’s official website and see that this bag is currently being sold for $950. Why pay more for a used handbag, when you can get a new one for less money? It just doesn’t make sense! I don’t have anything against this particular handbag, but I certainly have a bone to pick What Goes Around Comes Around. Hopefully they will come to their senses!
