Louis Vuitton Le Superbe Bag
The reason behind the name for this Suhali piece is quite evident. The Le Superbe is truly “le crème de la crème, in the accessory world of designer handbags. It’s simple design and subtleness presents classic elegance, while it’s underlying details from the small golden hardware to the pleated pocket, provide just enough charm. This bag is another example that shows anyone can carry a creation by Louis Vuitton without making the common LV monogram statement (though I do love the monogram line). The Le Supberbe is nothing less than sumptuous and the highest quality, and is undeniably another member of the ‘timeless’ crew.
Upon learning about this piece, I personally felt that it was one of LV’s better newer designs. It’s available in Verone, Black and White, with the white being my personal fav. The outer brass hardware that this bag is simply adorned with adds to the necessary elements of style and sophistication. I think that the basic buckle detail on the adorable pleated flap pocket in the front along with the reinforced riveted corners stylishly adds to the allure of this purse. And I can’t forget to mention the gorgeous Suhali goat leather that is so rich and sharp looking. I can only imagine how wonderful this bag feels and smells after purchased fresh out of the boutique. Aside from these attributes, there are plenty of other details featured on this bag.
Not only can you carry this on your arm, but you can also wear it over the shoulder. Though, I am unsure how comfortable the rolled leather handles would be as opposed to flat straps. In my opinion, it might look better carried on the arm anyway. There is a zip closure at the top, and the interior is lined with Micro Monogram tone on tone lining. And as mentioned above, it is slightly embellished with brass pieces. For any small items there is an inside patch pocket and there is also a special pocket for your cell. The size is roomy measuring 14.9x 9x 6.7. The price tag is somewhat hefty with a cost of $3,300.
