Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Speedy 30 handbag in Dune and Ebene – $745
When a fashionista thinks of the word “Louis Vuitton” one of the words that instantly comes to her mind is Speedy. Thoughts and visuals of the Damier Ebony/Azur, Monogram Canvas, and Multicolore Speedy fill her mind with everlasting happiness, joy, and love.
It is very rare, but definitely not impossible, that you will hear women bring up the word Mini Lin in a style friendly Louis Vuitton conversation. I ask why is that? Is it because you don’t see very many fashion iconic celebrities wearing the collection? Maybe it’s because society wants a bag with big flashy LV’s on it so others, in fact, can see the brand you are carrying. Then there is always the few women that don’t like carrying the designer name all over them and opt for a handbag that has less of a bling bling look to it and more of a pattern look. Or we can always venture back into high school and use the terms: Popular and Not Popular.
I present to you the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Speedy 30. The Speedy 30 has always been a fan favorite for it’s roominess but as well for it’s fashionable statement and it’s satchel like style. The Speedy 30 looks absolutely beautiful and flawless in the Mini Lin canvas. The canvas is very soft and has the feel as that of fabric instead of the normal rough canvas Louis Vuitton handbags are usually made of. Instead of being cliche and having the overbearing LV logo all over the handbag, the Mini Lin collection is accented with miniature LV’s in pure elegance.
The Mini Lin Speedy 30 comes in two gorgeous colors: Dune and Ebene and has a affordable price tag at $745. The 2008 Louis Vuitton Cruise collection also came out with two other Mini Lin colors, blue and red, but come October those will be no longer sold in stores.

I have the dune version and love it, but it gets so dirty.
I think it’s just rare because it’s a newer LV collection. The classic monogram and damier have been around for many years. I think that if it sticks around for at least 10+ years and is not discontinued, it will be “more classic”.
I agree with Carmen. Also the damier and signature LV is so much more popular because there’s an array of different styles available.
I like this look but think it’s one of these collections that will be replaced in a few years. But I do like it more than the new Louis Vuitton Paris embossed Speedy.
I totally seeing this line being discontinued. ((the fabric. not the speedy style)). It just doesn’t have that classic feel to it.
