Marc Jacobs the creative director for Louis Vuitton created this Monogram Denim Collection by combining aged stonewashed denim with the legendary LV detailing. (Fact: Due to the unique washing process, no two bags are identical). The interior of this bag is lined with saffron microfiber. The iconic Speedy shape of the bag is slightly modified with the addition of the exterior press-lock closure flap pockets, calfskin leather trim and zippered pocket features. (Fact: The Louis Vuitton Speedy was first produced in the 1930′s and considered the first archetypal multi-purpose soft bag.) The measurements of this bag are 6.2″ width x 6.2″ height x 12.5″ length. This Neo Speedy carries a price tag of $1,390.

eBay Alert I enjoy eBay browsing. I mean really, it’s just so exciting when you find a designer bag that may be marked up to 20% off retail with the tags still attached or at least in excellent condition. I don’t know about you bagista’s but that thought is too pleasuring. Listed below are a few Louis Vuitton Neo Speedy’s discovered via eBay. I couldn’t find any that are nwt (new with tags) but there all in good condition.

Louis Vuitton Denim Neo Speedy that has been gently loved. Shows sign of wear, interior has a couple pen marks, and exterior has a few scuffed corners, but all and all nothing major. Current bid $0.99. go!

Denise Richards loves the Louis Vuitton monogram denim collection so much that she doesn’t just have one bag from this collection, but two. Back in August Denise Richards was spotted at LAX airport with the Louis Vuitton Denim green Baggy GM (go!) and now here she is pictured above with the sister bag, the fuschia Neo Speedy. My vote’s for the Baggy GM.
