Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Infinity Dots Collection

Louis Vuitton has faced off once again with the Contemporary Arts! The French luxury brand has collaborated with the Princess of Polka Dots, Ms. Yayoi Kusama, and has brought to us one of the most interesting collections yet. Japanese artist and writer Yayoi Kusama sees her life as “a dot lost among millions of other dots”. “Without beginning, end or center”, Kusama presents her designs as repetitious, infinite, and with much energetic vibe. Her signature pattern of spots on a solid background has captured the mind of Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, bringing their exciting affiliation to the world of fashion. Their vision is presented among some of Vuitton’s most classic collections.

You can spot Infinity dots on the feminine Papillion, the trusty Pegase, on various sized Lockit’s, and on the everlasting Pouchette products. If Dots on a handbag is a bit too daring for your taste, they’re accessible in smaller increments such as in footwear, shawls, jewelry and charms. Who said Dots should be limited to child’s wear? There’s a fun vibe about this collection in a variety of hues and textiles to choose from. What’s your input on this trendy collection? Love it or leave it?
