Vintage Louis Vuitton Epi Noe
In case you missed it, there were a bunch of new Louis Vuitton and Chanel handbags added over the weekend on ShopBop. The seller is WGACA (what goes around comes around), a brand that specializes in reselling previously owned luxury handbags. One of the beautiful bags that caught my eye and I’ve grown to love over the years is the Noe carryall in a lovely blue Epi leather.
Interesting Louis Vuitton fact – did you know that the Noe was first introduced in 1932 when a champagne house contacted Gaston Vuitton to make a bag that would hold 5 bottles of champagne. The bag still serves this function: 4 bottles with the bottom down and the 5th inverted and nestled between the others. The design became such a hit that Louis Vuitton started selling this spacious city bag.
