When it comes to all things handbags, how stiff is too stiff? Sure, sturdy bags are handy when you fear your essentials being all over the place or when you really want your bag to stay in one single spot. The sturdiest piece in my collection is definitely my Multicolore Trouville by Louis Vuitton, and it definitely keeps its shape. I can’t imagine owning anything stiffer than my Trouville, as it would practically seem like a hard travel case or something. Speaking of hard cases, anybody looking for one? I recently ran into the Pragmatic Black Leather Case by Diesel. I had no idea that tough brand Diesel makes hard cases for their collection, is that newly learned or simply old news?

This piece is purposely designed with a vintage feeling to it. Aged gold toned hardware and its silhouette give this an antique finish. A square shaped body with double short handle tops seems to me like really uncomfortable to carry everyday. What should you carry in it? Who knows, eventually its owner will find use out of this. If a fashionista owns an iPhone, chances are she wants a designer case to go with it. Fashion designers are making their mark in the cell phone world by bringing out high fashion accessories for cell phones including a iPhone cases.

Louis Vuitton and Prada are a couple of the designers getting in on the iPhone craze. Louis Vuitton has came out with six different iPhone cases, one of which is no longer available. The different lines of Louis Vuitton iPhone cases include: Monogram Canvas; Damier Graphite Canvas; Taiga Leather; and as pictured above, Epi Leather. Louis Vuitton also came out with a limited edition Monogramouflauge iPhone case, which sold out very quickly and can no longer be purchased. The Louis Vuitton iPhone cases run from $240-$290, but when the next price increase comes around I’m sure they will go up!

Prada has also got on in on the iPhone mania and has come out with a rather stylish case for the over popular phone. Although, the Prada iPhone case may be fashionable, it sells out rather quickly. The Prada iPhone case is available in a grayish metallic color and it is absolutely stunning. The iPhone case by Prada runs for $140, which is not a bad price for a designer phone case.

Now that the holiday shopping season has been declared offcially “OPEN”, it is only a matter of time before I begin creating my own little wish list. Thoughts of what Santa might bring me invoke these wonderful feelings of joy and excitement. Of course I know I probably won’t be getting what I would REALLY like for Christmas this year, but a girl can dream can’t she? One of my favorite fantasies is a wonderful gift from Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton Monogram Scuba MM
A little late for Halloween! Believe it or not, this handbag is brand new for the Cruise 2009 Collection. Introducing the Louis Vuitton Monogram Scuba MM. With it’s monogram-embossed neoprene and contrasting leather trim, this bag is unlike anything I have seen from Louis Vuitton. Unfamiliar with neoprene? It is actually a synthetic rubber that is most commonly used to produce weather-resistant products, adhesives, shoe soles, and paints. Wow! Can anyone say RAINCOAT? (Sorry, it’s a bad TBF joke) Seriously though, if I were to pick out a brand new Louis Vuitton handbag for myself, this would not be what I would choose. I like bright colors for spring, but orange and black are just way too Halloween-ish. But looking at the bright side, at least you wouldn’t have to worry about getting this bag wet during one of those sudden Spring downpours. Perhaps Louis Vuitton will come out with some rain boots to match! That would be hilarious! What does everyone else think?

Want Malpensa 24 HR Travel Bag
Do you want a nice travel bag? Say for quick, overnight trips? I came across this Malpensa 24HR Travel Bag by Want and all I can say is “wow”. So who is Want? The company’s full name is Want les Essentiels de la Vie. They are all about timeless, classic, and 100% functional designs. Their specialty? Luggage. However, they also make briefcases and a variety of small accessories. Personally, I think this bag is absolutely lovely. And you know what? You wouldn’t necessarily have to use it as a travel bag. It could easily double as an awesome work bag. Just think of all the stuff you could fit in there – folders, binders, laptop, you name it. As for the color, I actually love the green a lot. The color is refreshing and unexpected, especially in the workplace. However, I think this bag would be even more stunning in black. After all, black is always right when it comes to work. How does everyone else feel?
