Marc by Marc Jacobs Graffiti Tote
Have you ever found yourself bored with pen in hand, doodling gibberish on paper? As a college student who has survived quite a number of boring lectures, I’ve been guilty of this. The reason I bring this point up is because if you take a look at Marc by Marc Jacobs new Standard Tote design, you’d agree with me that Mr. Marc literally jot down his ideas on paper. Ok… maybe my doodles and tagging aren’t creative enough to land on a designer handbag, but apparently Mr. Marc’s are. What do you ladies think about this? I can see how you fashionista’s either hate this piece and find it too childish, or you find this design quite cute and fun. Personally, I think its fun. I can see myself using this as a weekend tote or a kick-around bag, although I’m not sure if I’m willing to spend $148 on a tote that looks like a victimized wall of crime in some downtown area. Ok, maybe I’m getting a bit carried away, but you get the idea. The doodles are cute, but the tagging is a bit too dramatic? Or maybe, it’s just me… What’s your say on the graffiti tote? Would you wear this?
