Marc by Marc Jacobs Phone Box Bag

Marc Jacobs certainly loves his polka dots! The whimsical pattern has appeared in so many of his designs over the years. And while Marc Jacobs is no stranger to polka dots, it does appear he has taken a new interest in them recently. What do I mean by that? Well, this is not the first time this season I have written about a polka dot bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs. There have been numerous polka dot styles from the diffusion line recently. It’s as if they are popping up like… well… polka dots! Pictured here is my most recent find. Introducing the Marc by Marc Jacobs Phone Box Bag!

When I first laid eyes on this bag, I thought “wow, what an unusual looking piece”. This bag certainly is unusual, but in a good way. I love the box clutch styling, complete with a hinged opening. What really caught my eye though is the orientation. Rather than a horizontal rectangle, this bag is vertical. The extra long strap also makes this a mini bag, not a clutch. I love the smooth black lambskin leather, both inside and out. And I absolutely adore the gold-tone metal polka dots! This is such a cute little bag, perfect for carrying your basic essentials like your phone and keys.
