Cat in the Bag: Marc Jacobs Karolina Bag

For size reference I tossed my cat in the bag. Actually I switched bags this morning before I went out for coffee and when I got back she was scrunched up inside. I’m so glad she didn’t use it as a scratching toy like what she does to my other bags when left out. So yes, photo shoot time – above is my little kitty Frisky (aka Friska Vaduschka Mamuschka / Mr. Kitters) hanging out in the gigantic (largest size) Marc Jacobs Karolina Handbag.
The Marc Jacobs Karolina bag was named after the stunning Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova. Designer Marc Jacobs had this to say about Kurkova, “She has an angelic look with a dark side, she’s sweet and fun but looks like she could be an evil bewitching child.” – what a sweet quote.
eBay Alert I couldn’t locate my super sized bag on eBay, but if looking for a smaller version of the petunia (pink) I spotted a couple…

What a cutie pie! I have to agree with Mandy…I came home to find my cat, Willow, a.k.a.Sir William Grey Coat, chewing on the handle of a Burberry bag I had scored half price on Boxing Day. Now the handle is all messed up. *sigh*
Mandy – I know, I should be more careful :) . . My cat has never ruined any of my high end designer bags – only scratched up my Lenore bag by Shelli Segal, chewed on the straps of my vintage Fendi chef (super deal on ebay so not too sad), straps of Coach Signature tote. I mostly have an issue with her and my SHOES!! Arhg. When she was little we let her get away with it. Well she was little then and could climb in with no harm done. Now she scratches, chews, holds with her front paws and scratched with her back feet :-|
liv – Do you have the pink color as well? Sometimes I wish that I got the dark blue color :/
Maren – yes. she is a little super model. Seriously, when I take pics of anything free standing she jumps on the counter or table to get in the shot :)

I have the smaller version of your bag. I remember trying on the big one and it’s gigantic! No body under 5″3′ could wear it without it looking like the bag was wearing you.
