Marc Jacobs Casey Quilted Bag
Marc Jacobs always makes beautiful handbags from season to season, and for the 2009 Resort collection he did not disappoint. One of the handbags in the Marc Jacobs 2009 Resort Collection is the Casey Quilted Bag and I love it so much! I’m probably drooling over this handbag because it comes in Fuchsia, I pretty much love any handbag that comes in pink, but the black is also fabulous too. My absolute favorite part of this bag is the leather belt that wraps around the back to the front of the handbag. To me the belt is what can make this handbag pop out in a crowd. It’s not everyday that you see a belt wrapped around a handbag, and the belt gives the handbag that extra pinch of fabulous-ness. The push lock on the bottom of the bag in Nordstrom’s words, “Provides a touch of charming whimsy” and I couldn’t agree more. I think it’s super cute and definitely ads a little bit of cuteness to the bag. Another added bonus to the handbag is that it is actually quite roomy. The Casey Quilted Bag has a width of 15 1/2 inches and a height of 15 inches, pretty roomy for a handbag but would we expect anything less for a high-priced handbag?
The Marc Jacobs Quilted Bag is priced at $1,295 which is pretty normal for a Marc Jacobs handbag. Although, with goatskin leather and the handbag being made in Italy, the price comes as no shock. My favorite is the Fuchsia, but the black is also very tempting. Beautiful, but expensive.

It’s a nice looking bag, but it’s not something i would wear.
I like the belt detail.
I have this bag in the raspberry color!! I loves it.
I think this is a great everyday bag. It’s like a chic-twist on the classic everyday work-to-night tote.
$1,295 is a bit expensive, but this bag is worth it.
I don’t generally go for MJ bags, but this one is sort of nice and classy.
Are these the only new colors this season?

I say the blue version Jennifer posted in the forum. That color is amazing.
The blue is gorgeous, and i love the price of that version.
