    Marc Jacobs Mini Metropolitan Satchel

By Marissa Hopson · On November 13, 2013

As I was organizing my closet yesterday, I realized, that when it came to handbags, how much of a satchel type of girl I am. I literally have over fifteen satchels and two shoulder bags. I’ve never been a fan of shoulder bags and it doesn’t look like that is changing anytime soon. However, I think I’ll always love satchels and at the moment I’m kind of obsessed with mini bags! Put the two handbag styles together and I think I’ve found what may be one of the cutest bags to exist. The Marc Jacobs Mini “Metropolitan” Satchel is so adorable and is by far the cutest Fall bag I’ve seen this year.

What captured my eye was the overlapping perforated dot overlay in the front. I’ve never seen perforated done like this on a handbag before and it definitely gives the bag that high fashion look but in a vintage way. The closure featured on the front of the bag is eye catching because of the antique golden hardware finish. Unless you knew you’re fashion you couldn’t tell if this was a new bag or a bag from the 70′s. I also, love the colors that was chosen for the bag. The colors scream Fall and I could see myself carrying it with a navy suit, a black dress or some jeans and boots. The bag is totally versatile and can be used with a wide array of outfits.

Overall, it’s a super cute bag to own if you don’t have anything with a vintage look to it in your closet. I’m an old school kind of gal and I have to say I love this bag!
