Michael Kors Joan Bag
“My Mother travels constantly and loves the idea of a bad that’s both utilitarian and luxurious, so I created the Joan bad for her. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does!” – Michael Kors
Those are the exact words hanging from the MICHAEL Michael Kors “Joan” bag. I know, because I fell in love with this bag today and bought it today at Bloomingdales. I’ve been looking for a new black handbag for a while and this one instantly caught my attention. I would like it a tad bit better if it was available in gold hardware but the silver hardware is good enough.
By just looking at this bag on the display, it looked very simple. When I had the sales associate take it down for me it was far more than simple. The “Joan” bag screams classy but sophisticated, which is not my style at all but I love it. I’m more into edgy handbags that catch your eye but when I held this bag in front of the mirror I was sold!
Believe it or not, the bag is actually quite spacious. It fits just as much in it as a Rebecca Minkoff “Morning After Mini” and has a shoulder strap too. I hardly ever use the shoulder straps but as a satchel it’s quite lovely. I admit too, I loved the lock it came with! Louis Vuitton got me hooked on their locks years ago and it’s nice to see Michael Kors adding some bling to his bags too!
Overall, it’s a beautiful handbag that I will definitely use all year long especially when I’m traveling. I can totally see why Michael Kors made it for his Mother to travel in. It’s spacious, not too deep and just all around perfect for a trip. I rate the “Joan” handbag an A+ and so glad to add it to the rest of my collection.
You can purchase the MICHAEL Michael Kors “Joan” Large Satchel at Bloomingdales for $328.
