Anne Page is the designer and creator of Nankeen, a company that embraces the timeless Chinese art form in each creation while staying committed to fair labor practices and environmentally friendly manufacturing.
What’s so special about Nankeen? their designs fuse 100% cotton, indigo dye, and exquisite patterns using a traditional Chinese art form which dates all the way back to the Song dynasty. The term “blue nankeen” describes hand-printed fabric of artistic refinement and primitive simplicity, which originated on the Silk Road over three thousand years ago. Nankeen is named after Naking, the area within China known as Silk Road for its many fine fabrics.
