Reed Krakoff Cadet Bag

Whether or not you are a fan of Coach handbags, it’s undeniable that Reed Krakoff has not only launched a stellar collection of handbags, but a full collection including footwear and clothing that feature modern, clean styling blending masculinity with a touch of feminine chic.

Many styles feature neutral shades, but it’s the brilliant pop of color that really grabbed my attention. This is a season where color-blocking reign supreme and this bag is an ultimate accessory to do just that. Pair it with neutrals, denim and for the more adventurous, cobalt blue, vivid green, sunshine yellow…you get the picture.

Coach Madison Laser Cut Maggie Bag

Laser cut patterns seem to be really hot this season. The trend is gorgeous and it is popping up on handbags everywhere! Plus they are in every shape and size imaginable. So I suppose it was no surprise to see that Coach was no exception. Of course, the brand did need to put its own personal twist on the look. You’ll find several pieces with a laser cut rendition of the very popular Op Art pattern. My personal favorite, however, is the Coach Madison Laser Cut Op Art Maggie Bag!

Valentino VaVaVoom

Valentino is a name synonymous with Italian high design. As of late, we’ve seen plenty of bags featuring a floral motiff. This is something different. It’s edgier. And I like it.

The VaVaVoom Small Flap Bag is a an attention grabber. Even if you aren’t into animal prints, this one is done so well and beautifully, it’s sure to get a look or many dozens! The spotted goat leather (similar to ponyskin) fetures a beautiful ocelot patter with more light than dark coloring. It is a beautiful neutral compliment for many outfit. Whether paired with denim or a chic little black dress, this bag is more useful than you might first imagine.

Rebecca Minkoff Studded Fling

There has been so much talk here at Bag Bliss about Alexander McQueen Box Clutches. I get it, I really do. They are absolutely stunning! What’s not to like? Oh wait, there is something. That little (or should I say, not so little) thing we call a price tag. Not to worry though! If a box clutch is what you crave (and you can live without one of those awesome skull clasps), then there are many less expensive options out there! My pick being, of course, the Rebecca Minkoff Studded Fling Clutch!

Maddalena Marconi Hobo

I remember when tying a scarf onto your handbag was all the rage! The perfect accessory to accent your perfect bag! But it seems like this trend has faded a little bit. I don’t see people tying scarves onto their handbags nearly as often. Is it not cool anymore? Personally, I really like the look! So if it’s not considered cool anymore, then it certainly should be! Maybe the look just needs a little updating. I think it was this idea that attracted me to the Maddalena Marconi Suede Top Handle Bag!

Bag Snob x DKNY: The Five Essentials

It takes one tough statement and a designer brand Public Relations representative to come across it and you’ll be in for a serious affair if you nail in the right words. Mini for Many Sailor Bag

When I was in grade school, we were encouraged to read as many books as we could. We kept track of how many books we had read by placing stars under our names on a bulletin board. I can’t remember how many books you had to read in order to get a very special reward, but I remember it seemed like a lot! What was the special reward, you ask? The opportunity to take a ride in a real hot air balloon! Gosh, I can remember waiting FOREVER for the day I would get to ride in that balloon. And when that day finally came, I was practically bursting with excitement. I remember waiting in line to get into the basket and then I remember climbing into the basket! And then we went a whole 20 feet up into the air before coming back down… Hmm, imagine my disappointment.

You’re probably wondering by now what the heck this story has to do with the bag you see pictured here. It’s called the Mini for Many Sailor Bag and it was this childhood memory that popped into my head the second I laid eyes on it.
