Everyday is a perfect day to receive roses and the House of Fendi definitely agrees. Just check out one of their most classic and popular handbag designs, adorned with the sweet appeal of roses. We can all recall Louis Vuitton’s Roses collection from a season or two ago, but what do you think about Fendi’s version? Vuitton’s roses are fun, eclectic, with a punch of pop to them, as Fendi’s appear subtle, feminine, and quite romantic. Personally, I was never quite a fan of Fendi’s logo jacquard accessories, but with a touch of roses, I definitely like the look of this. The rose detailing gives a modern touch to the classic logo design of Fendi that the fashion world knows and loves.
There’s a new landmark planted in Las Vegas – a mini version of Rome’s breathtaking Trevi Fountain. The recently unveiled scaled down fountain is hidden away inside the brand new Fendi store at Crystals at CityCenter. How unfortunate… you’re going to have to stop off at the Fendi boutique to see this amazing attraction.
Monica Botkier is such a great designer, I always enjoy seeing new styles from her line. But when I stumbled across the Botkier Brooklyn Hobo, I found myself experiencing something I have never experienced before in terms of Botkier handbags.
Yep, it was an old-fashioned case of deja vu. And to make matters worse, I had absolutely so clue why. So I studied the Botkier Brooklyn Hobo closely, hoping that it would eventually come to me.
This beautiful bag features long tassels, something that it often associated with the Botkier name. And the lacing detail via metal grommets creates an interesting horizontal pleating effect. Wait… that’s it! That is what I have seen (and also written about) before! There is another handbag out there where grommets and lacing were used to create horizontal pleats.
Oh yes I did.
While surfing around the pages of online department store YOOX I stumbled upon this bag, pictured to the right, which I originally mistaken for Foley + Corinna’s classic Jet Setter, but upon clicking the image and further examination, it appears to not be what it seems. That’s always how it is when it comes to an amazing deal. I’ve never seen the Jet Setter on sale, reduced to up to 50% off. Unless it was at a sample sale or something.

Ever since the tragic news broke earlier this month about Alexander (real name Lee) McQueen passing, bags by this designer have been flying off store shelves. Who wouldn’t want a piece of what’s left from this brilliant and talented designer? I to am on that boat.
