Emmy Award-winning actress, television personality and talk show host Kelly Ripa has teamed up with Electrolux, a new line of premium appliances from Europe’s leading premium appliance brand, to help fight ovarian cancer.
As part of its commintement to raise more than $500,000 for The Ovarian Cancer Fund (OCRF) over the next two years, Elecrtolux is auctioning off several of the actual handbags used in “Kelly’s Bags,� a fun, first-of-its-kind online game that captured the imaginations of tens of thousands of women this Spring while helping to raise funds for OCRF.
The mission of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is to fund research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer.

Us fashionistas love our trendy totes, so we shouldn’t expect anything less from our high-maintenance pups. Juicy Couture has combined two of our favorite elements – couture and our prized pups. The Juicy Couture “Couture Canvas� Pet Satchel features rich leather trims in a signature Scottie-print accented with tricolor painted stripes in either pink and brown or brown and grey. There are screened windows with rollaway shades to offer a view on either end of the satchel…because our puppies deserve a good view too! Louis Vuitton Baxter PM Dog Carrier
For all of you small dog owners who love to carry your pet in style, there is now another dog carrier out by Louis Vuitton. The new Monogram Sac Baxter PM is the perfect little mobile ‘fashion house’ for your furry friend. Details from the brass hardware pieces to the adorable outer front flap pocket with buckle closure all create a perfect and stylish pet-presentation when taking your pup anywhere. Not only is this updated version even trendier for your pet, but it also has flat shoulder straps, providing more comfort for you than Vuitton’s earlier model, the Sac Chein.
The Baxter PM is a little more compact than LV’s other pet transporter, the Sac Chien, and measures 13.8â€? x 10.4â€? x 6.5â€?. However, one of the panels on the side unzips, folds over and secures with a snap closure, allowing the room for your dog to be expanded. Featured inside is textile lining and a monogram canvas belt with a clasp. Besides the mentioned features, what I really like about this carrier is the open top because it’s great for quicker access to your love and also because it’s different from the common cage-like trait that is seen among carriers. But anyways, you can buy this new pet purse for about $400 less than the Sac Chein, or for a price of $1,360.

I went Spring handbag hunting today (and yesterday), and oh it was a blast. I don’t understand why all of a sudden I am reliving the Coach and Juicy Couture Faze, which I thought I have long passed.
Juicy Couture Velour Balloon Bag with Mr. Kitters modeling inside (she loves stuffing herself in my bags). Yes, I bought the ugly – ugly balloon bag! (This bag is not loved in The Bag Forum) Haha. My opinion totally changed when I saw it in real life. This will be one of my Summer ’07 beach bags.
Huge Michael Kors Satchel in the color Luggage. My gosh I have been on the hunt for this bag for such a long time, like since Fall ’06, but nobody had it. Until recently Nordy’s stocked back up.
Francesco Biasia Candy Red Bag. It’s cute. That’s all I have to say. Hah. Oh no. I can see it now. Next week I will be saying “I have a Francesco Biasia handbag?” No but really this bag is pretty comfortable (and light!) to hold. It has double straps that rest softly on the arm or if you want to wear it as a shoulder bag there is a (non removable) shoulder strap.
Norstroms Purple Textured Clutch. So vibrant, I adore. Definitely a clutch that I will be spotted all over Seattle lounge-hopping with.
Coral Red Coach Shoulder Bag. Like I was saying in The Bag Forum, I only bought this bag because it was 25% off and the last one left and everyone was like. . “so, are you going to get that”. Hah. The color is pretty.
Coach Denim Signature Flap. Coach denim signature fabric with clean white shoulder straps – Oh I can not wait for spring to roll around!
Juicy Couture Cosmetic Case. Teeny Tiny. Wont fit a lot. I can stuff probably only 4 small (less than 3″) lip glosses. That’s about it.

Marc Jacobs | Karolina Handbag
For size reference I tossed my cat in the bag. Actually I switched bags this morning before I went out for coffee and when I got back she was scrunched up inside. I’m so glad she didn’t use it as a scratching toy like what she does to my other bags when left out. So yes, photo shoot time – above is my little kitty Frisky (aka Friska Vaduschka Mamuschka / Mr. Kitters) hanging out in the gigantic (largest size) Marc Jacobs Karolina Handbag.
The Marc Jacobs Karolina bag was named after the stunning Czech supermodel Karolina Kurkova. Designer Marc Jacobs had this to say about Kurkova, “She has an angelic look with a dark side, she’s sweet and fun but looks like she could be an evil bewitching child.” – what a sweet quote.
eBay Alert I couldn’t locate my super sized bag on eBay, but if looking for a smaller version of the petunia (pink) I spotted a couple…
