Miu Miu Pelouche Faux Fur Bag

We are already well into July and it is 100 degrees outside. It’s hot and humid, the typical summer weather for where I live. I can definitely tell you that fur is the farthest thing from my mind right now. It makes me hot just looking at it! But I think my fellow Bag Bliss blogger, Deysa, was on to something when she presented the Prada Eco Mongolia Garden Tote. From the look of things, fur is going to be the thing for Fall 2011. Not just any fur, but faux fur. I think I agree with Deysa, definitely not something you would imagine coming from the creative minds behind our favorite premium designer brands.

Here is faux fur piece from Prada’s sister label Miu Miu — the Miu Miu Pelouche Faux Fur. It probably isn’t hard to guess why this bag caught my eye while browsing the virtual shelves of Net-A-Porter. It isn’t everyday you see an orange faux fur bag trimmed with purple leather! Wow, it almost hurts my eyes just looking at it! This piece is only for the very brave! To pull this one off, pair it with simple pieces and don’t over-accessorize. Make that orange ball of fluff the focus of your ensemble and be prepared for lot’s of second glances as you make your way down the street. An excellent conversation piece, for sure!
