PRADA Plum Metallic Leather Top Tote
Yes, I know that the violet hued handbag has been a hot topic for quite some time now, so I promised myself that this will be the last “purple” handbag I talk about or at least until the phase is over this season. I personally admire purple-toned handbags, but I can’t give into buying one, reasons being, I’m not brave enough to try a bold splash of color. I fear neglecting the poor thing over the common dark handbag. I spotted this Prada today over at BlueFly (listed on Nina Garcia’s Luxe List), and I like it! I love how clean the look is, it’s not busy at all yet it still carries attention grabbing details such as the signature Prada logo and dangling tags. Back to the color, I feel it’s pretty versatile since it isn’t exactly a set shade of plum. I can see how the hue may vary (appearance wise) with whatever article of clothing you wear at the time of use. Overall, the color is great; the $1,276 price tag is steep but reasonable for this piece of luxury, and I don’t think you could ever go wrong with a grained leather Prada bag? Love this piece?
