Prada | Traveling Bag | View!
Brief little history of the Prada Nylon Bags: Miuccia Prada (granddaughter of Mario Prada) designed the black water-resistant backpacks since 1970, out of a nylon fabric called “Pocone”. Then in 1985 Miuccia created the classic Prada handbag that was made of the same sleek black nylon fabric – The Classic Nylon. The bag became an instant hit, so people say. I was only a newborn at the time and new nothing of fashion, but history tells us that this bag was hot and sold out like there was no tomorrow. Of course we all know that with popularity comes logo image damage. Within month of production you could find replica’s being sold in the truck of cars, on the side walks and even at purse parties. I’m not saying that Prada image is completely ruined, people still love the label today, just not I (referring to the nylon not the runway collections). It’s not the fact that there are many replicas out there roaming the streets but rather I don’t want to carry a bag that has an over-worn over-used image. (The last sentence does not apply to Louis Vuitton. . . at this moment in time.)
Pictured above is a travel bag from the Classic Nylon collection. The bag combines classic style and function for traveling wear-and-tear. Made of durable waterproof nylon fabric and trimmed with calfskin leather and topped off with an embossed Prada logo tag with lock and key. Yes your belongings will be safe while you are on the go with the mini stylish padlock.
Only one left at Amazon! The 40% off price tag could have something to do with that.
