InStyle Magazine Introduces Gifting in 3D!
Recently got my hands on the new December 2009 issue of InStyle magazine and discovered that this isn’t your ordinary monthly.
What’s so special about this issue is that for the month of December, the magazine has gone three-dimensional!
The experience starts with the cover, where with the use of your web camera and an issue of Instyle you will receive a special message from Taylor Swift in 3D.
Taylor Swift fans, you’re going to faint from excitement. You’ll see a 45-second video in which goldilocks Taylor Swift, dressed in a shimmery Oscar De La Renta dress, comes to life and dances right before your very own eyes. The technology of this is pretty rad.
Once inside the pages of the glossy, discover “Gifting in 3D”, a new dimension in Holiday Shopping! Shop 25 Brands, from Chanel to Intel.
How Gifting in 3D works:
- Log on to InStyle.com/Giftingin3D
- Hold the pages up to your webcam
- Shop the holidays in 3D!
If you haven’t picked up your issue yet, you can still shop in 3D. Simply print the “3-D Trigger Page”, directly from the Web site, hold them up to your webcam, and start shopping! Once you’re in, expect to find deals, messages, and product suggestions from spectacular brands including: YSL, Neiman Marcus, Chanel, DVF, HP, and MORE!

I got the issue!!! At first I didn’t really get the whole 3D
thing, but it’s actually really neat.
Did you try it out Deysa? I still need to go pick up a copy.
