One of my favorite color combination is black and white. Whether it’s with fashion, home decor or school supplies I absolutely love the two colors together. I’m currently in the process of doing my room over in black and white and I’m trying to find a really cute boutique style chair to go with the theme. Even if you were to take a peek into my closet you would see a majority of black and white clothes. The two colors combined are so simple, classy but yet elegant and I can’t get enough of them. With that said, when I saw the Marc Jacobs Mini “Stam” in Black and White my mouth dropped. I fell in love with the “Stam” bag many years ago when I saw Stacy London talk about it on one of her shows. She had mentioned it was one of her favorite bags and I can see why!

The Mini “Stam” is adorable and I just love the whole style of the bag. The “Stam” bag has always struck me as a bag with an old school vibe. We don’t see very many bags with kiss lock closures these days and I absolutely love it! I can envision a woman in the 40′s carrying a bag like this while she was prancing around in her pencil skirt and heels. I’m an old school kind of girl and this is definitely the type of bag I would love to carry around on a daily basis. The colors are gorgeous together and the way the bag opens is quite unique in these times.

Rebecca Minkoff is no doubt one of my favorite designers. Her handbags are stylish and affordable. But they also have an element of predictability. You know what I’m talking about. Rebecca Minkoff has a very distinct style. Her designs have a little bit of edge to them. They are fun and flirty too! But there is also something else I have noticed. When it comes to handbags, simplicity is best. Well at least for me it is. I use to like gaudy handbags with a designers’ initials all over it but thankfully I’m out of that phase. I was visiting family in Orlando, FL over the weekend and I had to make a quick stop at the luxury outlet mall. I went into Michael Kors and bought a gorgeous black envelope style bag in black that also had a gold chain. Best part about the bag was that you had no idea it was by Michael Kors unless you looked up close to it. It’s classy, timeless and isn’t adorned in initials so I don’t feel like I’m a walking advertisement for a designer that doesn’t even know I exist.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs “Goodbye” Columbus Bag is a prime example of a simple but yet beautiful bag. It’s stunning and, once again, it’s another bag that you have no idea who it’s by unless you examine it closely. Not only would this make a great handbag to use right now during the Fall but this is a bag I would use all year long. It has a sophisticated feel to it that can be played up with a casual or elegant look when it comes to wardrobe.

This may be completely off topic, but it’s one of my dreams to own my own restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and my goodness is it hard to find good food. Most restaurants only have one, if that, vegetarian dish on a menu! It’s very annoying and makes it hard to eat out. It would be nice to have a restaurant that myself and others can eat at and enjoy everyday. Just yesterday I was talking to my Mom about my idea and the possible color theme my restaurant would be. We were talking about crazy colors that you never see in restaurants. One of the color patterns was black, pink and beige. The colors look gorgeous together but would be totally off the wall for a restaurant. A fine example of the colors looking amazing together would be on the Milly Zoey Satchel.

About three years ago I fell in love with a Michael Kors handbag and I’ve been using it ever since. It’ not in the best shape now but it’s still gorgeous. It was the Michael Kors Uptown Astor Patent Satchel. It was released in black leather with gold hardware and my gosh it was beautiful. I remember they came out with a small satchel and the shoulder bag. I was literally in the Michael Kors store for a good two hours because I couldn’t decide which one I wanted more. Ultimately, I went for the shoulder bag but it took a very long time for me to come to that decision!
