Juicy Couture Sequin Day Dreamer

I don’t know about all of you, but Juicy Couture just hasn’t been doing it for me lately when it comes to their Day Dreamer Totes. There is the new embroidered design here or the different ribbon embellishment there, but they don’t really change that much from season to season. It wasn’t long before I found myself passively yawning as I passed by the Juicy Couture display at my favorite local department store. All of this changed, however, during my latest little shopping trip (okay, I was really there to pay the bill but it’s always a good excuse to check out all the pretty new things). I walked past the large Juicy Couture display and this one bag just jumped out at me. It’s called the Juicy Couture Hi-Shine Day Dreamer!

Anya Hindmarch Glitter Valorie

Glitter can be very annoying. It’s like beach sand because once it’s on our skin it doesn’t want to seem to get off! I’m personally not a glitter fan but when it’s featured on something fashion wise that I consider fabulous, I can deal with it.

As I write frequently, I love clutches. I don’t even own that many of them but I love them. I use to be a huge fan of large handbags but I love the simplicity of a clutch. They’re so easy to deal with and they fit only the essentials you truly need to carry around. When I carry big handbags I tend to put the whole top of my dresser in them. However, in a clutch I can only put money, cards, lipstick and my phone.

I’m currently drooling over the Anya Hindmarch “Valorie” Clutch in Old Pink. Even though my wardrobe is only black and white, all my fun accessories in my room are pink. My favorite color is pink and I love it! When I spotted this clutch I squealed in excitement! It’s so girlie, fun and would look amazing at night.

BE & D Barclay Sequin Tote

Sequins has been everywhere this year. Anything that is considered fashionable has featured sequins on it in someway so it’s no surprise that designers also felt the need to capitalize on this trend. BE & D was one of the designers that that incorporated sequins on their handbag designs.

BE & D is currently one of my favorite handbag designers. Their designs go well with my edgy style and they definitely have handbags that look like no other brand out there. I have to admit though, I’m not a fan of sequins. It always makes my skin itch, and I feel it’s more a night trend. Someone that wears sequins during the day always looks so silly, but who am I to judge?

Alice + Olivia Sequin Hobo

Once Halloween passes by, we’ll approach the season where everything glimmers and is bright. Designers know that they can sprinkle eye-catching textures on any of their goods and they wont have a problem selling. I myself fall victim to this technique, as I love the sparkle look on everything. Even if it’s something I wouldn’t be caught wearing, I’ll still pause momentarily, swivel the item and gaze.

Valentino Sequin Rose Clutch

Gorgeous Olivia Palermo spotted around this past week with her stunning sequin rose Valentino clutch. The first sighting was last week on the 8th (pictured on the left), where Olivia was at the Mango Fashion and Music Night in Munich. For the event she matched her Valentino clutch with a blue pleated dress from the Spanish label, and a pair of lace-up Jimmy Choos. Then a couple days later (pictured on the right), she was spotted at the N.Y.C. “Make Up For Ever” Sephora launch in a champagne origami skirt, black feathery top, grey beaded jacket; and accessorized with a studded belt, Charlotte Olympia booties, and the gorgeous embellished rose Valentino flat clutch.

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Charles Sequined Mini Evening Bag

Bling! Bling! Bling!

Wow, I was just blown away by my most recent email from Saks Fifth Avenue

We started seeing the sequin trend coming on strong last year, I’d say it has come to full fruition in the latest incarnations by D&G!

Dolce & Gabbana is known for statement making designs featuring animal prints, sequins and satin. This line is usually not for the timid! If you are looking for a red carpet ready evening handbag that will turn you into the center of attention, look no further. Dolce & Gabana’s new collection is full of showstoppers!

You could always make the conservative choice and select a basic black evening bag that will work with practically everything you, own. But what fun is that? A true fashionista needs a little bit of variety! A girl needs to and should get attention!

Judith Leiber Clam Shell fine-crystal Clutch

If Disney’s Princess Ariel can have any clutch she desired, this one would probably be it. Judith Leiber and her amazing collection takes inspirations from the sea with her Clam Shell fine-crystal Clutch. It’s pretty self explanatory and being a piece by Leiber, you know how incredibly stunning this piece is in real life. Pay attention to the exquisite detailing of this clam clutch and you’ll see how each multi-hued crystal creates this colorful and dazzling piece. Some cluster lines even feature miniature pearl detailing within the Swarovski crystals. Whether this clutch would fit your lifestyle or not, you cannot deny the fact that this piece, and like most Leiber accessories, is hands down stunning. This exquisite piece is not for the average pocket book as a whooping $4,395 is the asking price for this clutch. With that said, I’ll just take a look and nothing more.

Diane Von Furstenberg Stephanie Rasta Bag

Diane Von Furstenberg Stephanie Rasta Bag
I have to admit, I’ve been drawn to Diane Von Furstenberg‘s style for awhile now. She definitely understands how to dress a woman. She provides flattering, feminine dresses that don’t shirk from projecting a strong image. Her bags have recently begun to reflect this approach to design.

While we’ve seen the Stephanie before, we haven’t seen it like this! The Rasta style Stephanie pays homage to Diane’s expertise with print. White I adore the texture of the oversized, chain link metallic bag, what I really love is the striking use of color in this version! Red, orange, gold, green blue and metallics simply burst forth with their excitement. So versatile and FUN!. And did I say FUN? Bags are so serious sometimes, it’s great to see the whimsy without being kitchsy!
