When it comes to clutches and evening bags, there are two features that I absolutely love: Color and sequins. And if it happens to be over-sized too? Bonus!!! So when I saw the new Jimmy Choo Zulu Sequined Leather Clutch, I was simply mesmerized. This clutch looks absolutely gorgeous in the modeling picture. And it looks especially lovely paired with that simple black dress!

I think what I like so much about this clutch is the very interesting use of sequins that was employed. From a distance, the little blocks of color almost look like stones adorning the exterior of the bag. But each of these “stones” is actually a zillion little sequins meticulously sewn into place. Puffy quilting of the leather exterior is what gives these “stones” their three-dimensional appearance.

When fellow blogger BRS mentioned the NY Rocker Stam by Marc Jacobs a while back, the majority of the crowd definitely agreed that the infamous Stam looked awesome dressed up in extra sequins and studs. Just when you thought Marc Jacobs couldn’t make the Rocker Stam any cuter, he introduces its miniature version, the New York Rocker Little Stam.

I find this piece absolutely adorable; if the original Stam size is a bit too blingy for your taste, then this size might be the right one for you. Tis’ the season to throw sequins onto pretty much everything you can get sequins onto. From ornaments to sweaters, you can buy all of your accessories and wants glamed and ready for the holidays.

I myself fell victim of a black sequined skinny scarf; it’s cute, can get uncomfortable every once in a while, but I can see myself hanging it up after winter for the next year to come.
