Kooba has added shoes to the mix for their Spring 2010 collection. The long anticipated arrival, by many Kooba lovers, is set for August 5th at the FFANY New York Shoe Expo.

The collection will feature platforms, flats and gladiator sandals with a similar look to the firm’s classic hobo bags and totes. The shoes will retail from $225 to $450.

Founder and creative director at Kooba, Abbe Held recently spoke with WWD on this addition – “I’ve always been obsessed with shoes, so after building a successful handbag business, it just seemed like a natural next step to translate our unique mix of rich and interesting leathers, attention to detail, and an effortlessly chic sensibility into footwear.”

Nordstrom Glitter Handbag and High Heel Ornaments
Do you know what I find most annoying about the holiday season? Stores that have their Christmas merchandise fully stocked in October. I mean, come on! I’m not even finished woofing down all that Halloween candy yet and these guys are already pushing Christmas down my throat! Okay, okay, perhaps I am exaggerating just a little bit. But it just seems like the holiday season keeps getting longer and longer every year. And all I wanted to do was enjoy Halloween before having to worry about Christmas shopping. Now after saying all of this, I am going to become a total hypocrite here for just a moment. I saw these ornaments at Nordstrom and they were just so cute, I couldn’t wait until December to share them with you. Introducing the Nordstrom Glitter Handbag and Glitter High Heel Ornaments. Who says that a Christmas tree can’t be fashionable? These adorable miniatures are such a great way to share with everyone your fashion-forward side. And since these ornaments are so inexpensive, you can buy some for all your fashionista friends as well. What a great way to spread that holiday cheer! Now… back to that Halloween candy!

Over at the online sample sale site Gilt Groupe, they are set to feature double accessory designers this week: Lorelei on Thursday 7.10 and Mary Norton (formerly Moo Roo) on Friday 7.11.
