Any L.A.M.B lovers in here? Although I don’t follow the trend, I’m a total admirer of the Street Look. The bold, bright, and mostly everything loud about it, I like, but couldn’t possibly pull off.

L.A.M.B popular Williamsfield Tote has got a new look once again, this time with a punk-like makeover to it.

The first feature that caught my eye (and probably yours as well) was those cool blotch paint splatters in bright hues. Look beyond the paint and you’ll find the classic signature webbing printed on this PVC tote bag.

Even more lettering reads “Love, Angel, Music, Baby” throughout, and as if that wasn’t enough logoing, a small white engraved plague sits at it’s bottom left side.

This Williamsfield tote also features two rolled leather handles, many pocket compartments inside, within an extra spacious frame for your on the go essentials.

Just in: Anya Hindmarch “Christmas Totes” are here..

At first glance of the mailer that popped up in my box this morning, my favorite of the bunch is the Vixen! Of course everyone else must like that version as well, because I just wondered over the Anya Hindmarch site, and apparently that style sold out already. Temporarily I hope.

The Holiday 2009 editions range in price from about $98 for the simple canvas fruit and vegi Market Tote and on up to $265 for a full-print (in my opinion more of an) everyday style.

What do you guys think of the new seasonal edition?

For a while, Juicy Couture was on a role releasing handbags and accessories that were actually suitable for women of all ages, not just tweens… and then this happened. I apologize fans of this, but everything about this tote is simply tacky and appalling.

This extra vibrant denim tote features imprinted lettering that reads “Make Every Day Happy” in giant neon letters. Is that supposed to be some type of Juicy words of wisdom? I speak for myself when I say this tote made me happy in no way.

Besides its decor, this tote in general isn’t so attractive, as a matter of fact; it brought back bad memories of a denim jacket I once owned in middle school, it was awfully imprinted with all types of embroidered patches in bold colors. Eeek! I will defend my trendy jacket at the time, as I wasn’t the only one sporting that fashion disaster.

If you take a close look at detail especially around the handles, this tote appears to be poorly stitched, as if it were some quick do-it-at-home project. When I heard that Marc had produced a Doodle Print Tote for his Marc by Marc Jacobs line, two words immediately popped into my head: Dooney & Bourke. We all remember the Dooney & Bourke Doodle Print Collection, with its bright colors and childish-looking drawings. But when I finally saw the Marc by Marc Jacobs Doodle Print Tote in real life, I wasn’t as shocked as I thought I would be. Yes, the doodles are whimsical and childlike. However, I think what saves this tote from complete fashion disaster is that the doodles were done in simple black and white instead of every color of the rainbow. The little birds, rainbows, and bees are actually pretty cute. And the little worm is adorable! The doodles remind me of my textbooks from when I was in grade school. The teacher would have all the students bring a paper bag from home to make into a book cover. And, of course, mine would always be covered with lots and lots of drawings. I think this tote would be cute as a gym bag or even as a casual shopping tote. It is definitely something that the young and young-at-heart can both enjoy.

While I was shopping yesterday, I saw a woman carrying the Louis Vuitton “Monogram Sac Plat.” I was never a fan of the “Sac Plat”, but hers really caught my attention. It wasn’t as tacky as it looked in stock photo’s and kind of reminded me of a market bag. I could totally see some woman in New York taking this bag to a local market and putting the loaf of bread she bought inside it.

I browsed the Louis Vuitton website and saw that the “Sac Plat” is also made in the Damier canvas. I’m a huge fan of the Damier Canvas, because it can make any Monogram handbag look much more classy and sophisticated.

In my opinion, this bag is would be great for a business woman or just any woman that carries a lot of papers. You could easily put books, notebooks, or folders in this bag and you would never have to worry about them getting dented.

As for the outfit, a suit or pencil skirt with a matching blouse would go amazing with this bag. I can’t really see doing the whole casual look while carrying this bag. When I see this bag, it looks like more of a work bag to me more than an everyday bag. If I was out of college I would consider purchasing this bag because it would be a fabulous accessory at any interview.

The Louis Vuitton Damier “Sac Plat” can be purchased at Louis Vuitton for $1,060. Seems like a bit much for a bag that doesn’t even close at the top, but it still is stunning. Whether it’s for work, or everyday use this bag would look great in any collection.
