Hammitt Los Angeles handbags have made their way to the virtual shelves of Stefanibags! The slogan of this LA-based designer — “LA Stitched into Every Bag” — pretty much says it all. A company that strives for perfection, each collection is handcrafted in Los Angeles by local artisans. All of the designs are inspired by the unique and diverse lifestyles that call Los Angeles home. What I found interesting, however, was the particular collection from this designer that Stefanibags decided to showcase. It is called the Hammitt Los Angeles True Blood Collection!

What a minute… True Blood? Yes, it is THAT True Blood. Now I’ve never really watched the HBO series, but I must admit that these handbags (which were inspired by the True Blood series) are quite intriguing. I mean, who doesn’t love spikes, studs, and corset-like pleating? So whether you’re a diehard True Blood fan or you’re thinking “True Blood who?” right now, there is no question that these are some beautiful handbags. Perfect for a tough girl-chic look! I love clutches but I especially love them when they are by Alexander McQueen. McQueen’s clutches don’t look any other clutches out there. My favorite clutch by Alexander McQueen is definitely the “Skull Box” clutch. I love how it’s the same clutch every season just with different colors or designs. The price isn’t always enjoyable but each clutch literally looks like a piece of art.

Sometimes McQueen has other clutches that catch my eye. The last clutch that I absolutely loved but never purchased was the “Faithful Glove” clutch. It was unique and very edgy. I recently just spotted the “Pale Flesh” Clutch and I surprisingly liked it. I normally don’t like light clutches but this one screams elegance.

Is it just me or has Christian Louboutin been a bit on the wild side lately? Metallic leathers, studs, bold hardware, exotic prints… the list goes on! They are certainly a far cry from the sweet little clutches with the shoe-shaped clasp I had started to grow accustomed to. Just between you and me though, I am really liking this path Christian Louboutin has been taking. Just take a look at the Christian Louboutin Marianna Rider Spikes Bag you see pictured here! This is an excellent example of the “new” face of Christian Louboutin!

Don’t let the stock photos fool you though, they don’t do this beautiful bag any justice whatsoever! This lovely black leather hobo is covered head to toe in silver-tone spikes and the shoulder strap is made up of three very chunky-looking chains. Not only do these details give this bag a look that is very biker girl-chic, they are very glamorous as well! My favorite part about this bag though is those extra-long tassels (of course)! I just love the way they look dangling down so gracefully. I think they really help soften the look, lending an element of softness to balance the hard spikes.

When I think Christian Louboutin, I think of amazing footwear that is way out of my student budget limits. With the success of such a powerful fashion statement as the red-soled Louboutin, it encouraged a distribution of designs into a line of handbags.

My first thoughts about Louboutin handbags was that they were small and admirable, but they didn’t necessarily fit the lifestyle of your typical bag lady who carries more than a handful of daily items. The first Louboutin handbag that has really caught my attention is hands down the Morrigan Large Capra Tote, ladies what do you all think?

I’m absolutely drawn to the sparkly creation of an all-leather silhouette that makes up this tote bag. Black capra (that’s goat), lines this rectangular tote that is accompanied by two eye-catching straps adorned in unusual shaped studs. A great touch of silver hardware, including the signature plaque up front, gives off a modern and sophisticated look to this tote bag. Unzip this tote bag and disclosed within is signature red fabric lining, the perfect finishing touch to a fresh Louboutin creation.
