I don’t know if this is necessarily a new trend, but I have noticed a lot of camera bag-inspired pieces floating around lately. Weird question… but do people actually use these bags as camera bags? I have always wanted a camera bag, but I really want to use it as a camera bag. The bags you find at the camera store are all really ugly. That is why I am really liking this sudden surge of camera bags from some of my favorite designers. I really love the one you see pictured here. Introducing the Rebecca Minkoff Craig Camera Bag!
I don’t know how she does it, but Rebecca Minkoff seems to get it right every time! It doesn’t really matter what it is either! This particular piece is an excellent example of that. It manages to capture the essence of a vintage camera bag through its shape and design, while its shrunken size gives it a more updated appearance. With most cameras being so small nowadays, it could certainly be used as a camera bag if you wanted to. The beauty of this piece, however, is that it doesn’t HAVE to be a camera bag. It could be used as a cute little crossbody bag. Plus the square-shaped opening on top makes it super easy to get all your little essentials in and out. I also love the black and jungle green color combination. You get the versatility of a little black bag without feeling too blah. The jungle green strap adds a nice pop of color, sure to put a little spring in your step.
