Wow, I have been talking about warmer weather a lot lately! Perhaps it is all the anticipation that has been building. Spring has to get here sometime, right? At this rate though, I think we are going to just go straight into summer. Oh well, if the warm weather won’t come to me… then perhaps I need to go to the warm weather. It is definitely the traveling season now, so I am sure I won’t be the only one looking for some sun and surf. However, before we all dash off to the airport, we need to make sure we have an appropriate carry-on. Recently, I came across the Balenciaga Classic Voyage Carry-On Suitcase and I think I am in love!
Nothing is more awesome than a great Balenciaga handbag. Except, perhaps, for a great Balenciaga suitcase!
What isn’t there to like about this suitcase? I especially love the color – Tangerine! It is sure to put a little spring in your step!
Like other classic Balenciaga pieces, this lovely suitcase features the iconic hardware that this designer is famous for. I love the oversized zipper pull tabs, whipstitch detail, and the cute little lock and key. For convenience, this suitcase also features an expandable handle and interior straps for keeping your clothing in place.
This suitcase is literally a dream come true. The ultimate travel accessory!

Next month the sweet boyfriend and I will be on our way to the warm tropical beaches of Mexico for our yearly vacation. When it comes to traveling out of the country I usually keep it pretty basic, leaving the Louis Vuitton keepall‘s at home. To me the traveling experience of going internationally (south of the boarder) is much different than traveling domestically for many reasons – Not so much traveling to Mexico, but on the way home I feel like they check your bags every 10 minutes, plus (I know this may sound a little snobby of me) I don’t like it when people with dirty oily hands touch my new-ish, un-aged, still light Louis Vuitton leather. Plus there’s always the fear of a completely booked plane and the chance than my bag will be randomly selected to be placed with the checked luggage or stuffed in one of the overly crowded compartments and someones soda bottle exploding (never happened to me before but I’ve seen this happen). So for those reasons alone, I reserve my Louis Vuitton luggage for domestic travels, first class flights or road trips.

For Missoni I have to admit I’m a little bummed. There is absolutely no hint of Missoni anywhere on this bag, not even the interior lining. The inside of the bag features a striped black and white print – don’t get me wrong, the black and white stripe trend is huge right now (I’m crazy about it!), but it’s just not Missoni.

The Diane von Furstenberg On the Go Tote is the newest silhouette added to the DvF fashion house and I am loving it down to the stitch. The functional design and stylish print are a match made in purse heaven.
By the way, what do you guys think of Diane’s new Lip Logo? I think it looks great on the logo tag, but honestly I would probably remove it – the tote already says “Diane von Furstenberg” on the front. Is there really a need for double DvF labeling? Besides that minuscule detail I’m greatly in love with this bag. I love the black and white print. Anyone else crazily obsessing with the black and white trend happening right now? And most important, the design of the bag is completely functional! The main compartment of the tote features a magnetic-snap top, when opened reveals a spacious interior with 4 pockets and a pen slot. Wait, that’s not all this bag has to offer. As you can see from the picture above, there are more pockets conveniently located around the exterior radius of the bag. There are four more magnetic pockets on all sides of the bag. This is the ultimate day bag!

Ever since the Plastic Bag Ban Law here in Seattle passed I have been stocking up on shopper totes. I remember a few years ago when Anya Hindmarch kicked off the anti-plastic bag trend with her stylish “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” and ever since then designers and even departments stores (love the Norstrom’s Tote!) jumped on trend creating their own reusable totes. I probably have over 50 basic ones that I use when I go to the grocery store, that I don’t really care too much about and toss in the washer every so often. They do need to be washed occasionally!! However when I walk down to Pike Place Market here in Seattle I usually opt for something more fashionable, like my Burberry Check Market Tote or my Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs floral tote (yea, it’s a mouthful).
Here are a few of my favorite picks for reusable designer shopper totes. Featuring Foley + Corinna, KARL, Malene Birger and Marni.
Foley + Corinna Bon Voyage Additional Shopper. $82 (orig $165)
Oh my gersh you guys this one is on sale too. What I love about this Foley + Corinna reusable bag is that it folds up into a wristlet! Convenient.

The holiday season is an excellent time to take a vacation. Visit loved ones or head somewhere warmer to soak up some sun, you really can’t go wrong either way! Wherever your travels happen to lead you, don’t forget to take some fashionable items along with so you can look your best no matter the occasion. This includes some of your favorite jewelry pieces so you can compliment your outfits. Hold on just a minute though. Where are you going to put that jewelry while you are on the road or in the air? Nothing is worse than finding your jewelry tangled up into one big knot by the time you have reached your final destination. That is why I like to use a travel organizer designed to keep all that jewelry neat and tidy. Right now I am loving the Gorjana Thompson Jewelry Clutch!

This may be completely off topic, but it’s one of my dreams to own my own restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and my goodness is it hard to find good food. Most restaurants only have one, if that, vegetarian dish on a menu! It’s very annoying and makes it hard to eat out. It would be nice to have a restaurant that myself and others can eat at and enjoy everyday. Just yesterday I was talking to my Mom about my idea and the possible color theme my restaurant would be. We were talking about crazy colors that you never see in restaurants. One of the color patterns was black, pink and beige. The colors look gorgeous together but would be totally off the wall for a restaurant. A fine example of the colors looking amazing together would be on the Milly Zoey Satchel.

I’m a fan of the leather direction that Longchamp is captivating on their handbags. One of their latest additions is the LM Cuir Tote and I’m an instant fan. Not only does the Oak Brown hue fit in perfectly with the autumn season but its design is classy and feminine enough to take you throughout the season and beyond.

Obsession: Michael Kors Saffiano Travel Tote
The jumbo tote is a classic traveling staple. Design-wise I’ve always said the Saffiano Tote reminds me alot of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull with it’s simple open top design, spacious interior and delicate thin shoulder straps. However price-wise the Michael Kors is a winner at a little over half the price of the LV. Besides that, I’m a big fan of the logo-less print and I love the grey leather with the gold hardware.
Pair it with the Tory Burch Caroline Suede Ballet Flats and Helmut Lang Dropped Stitch Pullover.
