    Arc’teryx Altra Backpack

    By BrS · On August 2, 2014

This is going to seem like an unusual blog post, but I thought it would be relevant in the spirit of summer vacations. Yep, I will be heading off to Colorado soon for a much needed vacation. I am super excited because I love spending time outside. This vacation will be nothing but hiking on trails, hoping to spot some wildlife. Maybe I will even get a picture of a bear this time! But before I head for that mountain air, I thought maybe I should look for a backpack. Not just any backpack though. What I need is something hardcore! Just take a look at the Arc’teryx Altra Backpack, I think it will suit my needs perfectly.

While this isn’t the most fashionable piece I have ever written about, it is likely the most functional. According to customer reviews, this backpack has zippers on the sides of the main compartment. This means that you can access something near the bottom without having to remove anything packed in above it. There are all kinds of hooks and straps on the exterior designed to hold additional items, perfect for camping trips. This backpack even has an internal hydration pocket designed to fit up to a 2 liter bladder. That would certainly come in handy for a long day of hiking! The overall design is meant to be as light and comfortable as possible, without compromising structure and integrity. This is one serious backpack! Then again, I plan on doing some serious hiking!

    Retails for $449 at ZAPPOS!
