I was browsing around Nordstrom, when I came across a gorgeous black handbag. I love the color black, so whenever I see a bag in black it instantly gets my attention. When I looked to see who the bag was by, I started laughing. The bag was by Treesje and I remembered that the girls on the forum, TheBagForum.com, have been going crazy over Treesje handbags lately so I definitely had to take a closer look. Right away I knew why the they were so in love with the Treesje bags, because the “Studded Stone Front Pleat” Satchel was gorgeous!

This is definitely a bag I would purchase and use constantly. I love the shape, style, and even the studs make the bag look stunning. I think it’s the perfect black handbag to add to any collection. It has plenty of room, and the pleats on the front exterior of the bag give it some character. The best part about this bag is that it’s so versatile. You could wear this bag with an outfit that’s dressy, or one that’s casual. The studs on the bag can make the bag look a little fancy, but yet the style and shape make it look like an everyday bag.

The Chat: Treesje Avalon!

From the Fall 2009 Collection, the Treesje Marley Bag is probably one of my favorite Treesje bags yet. What can I say? I’m a sucker for cute little studs! And I think they work so well on this bag, giving it a nice rocker girl chic vibe. I also love the overall shape and the extra large pleat on the front side of the bag. Plus this bag is pretty versatile, with two ways you can wear it. I’ve got to hand it to Laura and Sheila because I really think they did a nice job on this one. In fact, I think they did a nice job with the entire collection. Studs seem to be the theme throughout and they were added to some of my fellow TBFers’ all-time favorite styles. They look absolutely adorable on the Metro Clutch and Asher! So if you haven’t checked any of these babies out yet, I strongly suggest that you do!

The Treesje Marley Bag measures 15″ x 13″ x 6″. It features both double handles and a detachable shoulder strap. It has been spotted in several different colors, including Turquoise and Coral. The Chat: Treesje London Boston Bag

A few months ago, Jennifer mentioned this bag over on TBF. If you are not already familiar with it, it is called the Treesje Mortale Tote Grande. Now I know that my buddy Zombiegirl over in TBF would absolutely love this bag. After all, it is covered in skulls! But what about everyone else? How do you feel about it?

Personally, I think this bag is very unique and edgy. Yes, it does remind me a little bit of Thomas Wylde, but in a good sort of way. In my opinion, the designers Laura and Sheila did an excellent job putting the “fun” back in functional (man, that sounds corny!).

And the best part about this handbag? This baby retails for a fraction of the price of a Thomas Wylde bag. So go ahead ladies, let your wild side shine through! The Treesje Mortale Tote Grande measures 15″ x 12″ x 6″ and is currently available in Gunmetal.

Treesje Duchess Clutch
I had wandered over to Clutch Seattle’s website the other day where I happened to stumble across this cute little clutch. The adorable little bow on the front grabbed my attention right away. Although the model is wearing a casual top and jeans, I really feel this bag would be better suited for a night-on-the-town outfit. It would really dress up a simple black dress… not to mention it would add a nice feminine touch to the look as well.

Cuteness set aside, there is something that confuses me about this clutch. At first glance, I thought it looked like embossed snake skin. But Clutch Seattle gives a little bit different description. Their interpretation? A spider web style pattern. Hmm… it sure looks like embossed snake skin to me! So which is it?

Oh well, whether its embossed snake skin or a spider web, I still think this clutch is cute nonetheless. Plus, it is such a wonderful size too! You can probably tell from the picture that it’s huge. The actual measurements are 13″ x 8″ x 4.5″. Wow! Now there’s just one thing missing from this little cutie — an optional shoulder strap!
