Victoria Beckham Saving Her Designer Bags For Baby Girl
Like most celebrities Victoria Beckham has such a big wardrobe of clothes (especially handbags and denims) that this recent LA Beverly Hills resident had to have a special extra room set aside in her new ($22-million, 13,000-square-foot Italianate) home for her collection. A collection so massive and spectacular that she has decided to keep all of her designer purses, even though she doesn’t wear most of them, in the hopes that one day she will have a daughter to pass along to.
In a LA Times article published a couple days ago, the designer-purse-loving mum of 3 young boys (Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 4, and Cruz, 2) Victoria Beckham, recently told the Los Angeles Times newspaper, “I think of them (bags) as an investment. Someday, when I’m lucky enough to have a girl, I will pass them along to her.” Me too, VB, totally, me too. Not the Coach or Dooney ones of course, but the Hermes, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel ones are definite keepers (vintage chanel is gold in my book).

side note: I don’t know if you have read the article yet, but I was a bit confused when she said that she “recently purchased a Hermes fuchsia ostrich Birkin at an auction.� Well because she has been spotted with that bag since 2004 (uuhhhu).

I know. All the classic ones should be kept. But the american brand ones should be tossed up on ebay.
I noticed that too! It’s even on her bookcover pictured above!!! Maybe she has so many bags that she lost it or gave it away and reordered it. Or shes just a liar. haha

I love her fuschia Birkin. But yeh.She has had it for many years.
I only wish I had that many bags to worry about and wonder what to do with them all. But sadly I don’t have that problem at all.
Naturally, Victoria assumes that Posh, Jr will be as shallow and egotistical as her Mum. Collecting designer bags is an embarrasing waste of time and money. Most parents have meaningul aspirations for their children. Does this woman know how sad she is?
