It seems like only a few years back these limited edition beauties were presented as newbie’s to the wonderful world of Louis Vuitton. The Cherry Blossom and Graffiti Collection were just two of the many collaborations the French house engaged in with some of the hottest pop culture artists of the moment.
The years went by quick, and now our favorite treasure hunters, What Goes Around Comes Around, is labeling these as vintage!
You guys see that showstopping stud & crystal Valentino Rockstud I mentioned yesterday? That beauty was brand new to the virtual shelves and sold out within hours upon arrival. Without a doubt I’m sure that bag will be restocked soon.
Even if I couldn’t get my hands on that sparkly favorite, I think that this casual red version would be amazing to own. I like the simplicity of this one more, compared to the glammed up version. This one has the look that can be worn from day to night in easy transition. Whereas the glammed up version is more dedicated to cocktail hour and evening soirees.
What do you guys think?
My fashion crave this year began with an appetite for bows and what better introduction than the Duffle Bag by RED Valentino. RED Valentino makes yet another winning move by moving away from traditional and bringing playful accessories to grown women. This understated duffle truly captures a feminine theme, and if someone is best at making bows for women, it’s definitely Valentino.
You guys must stop what you’re doing and check out the Net-a-Porter Sale ASAP! So many beautiful bags, shoes, clothing and accessories marked 70% off retail.
Here are a few of my favorite purse picks:
The Row Shoulder Bag. $1740 ($2900)
Sleek and understated. This may look like an ordinary classic black bag at first sight but it is far from it. Get this, the multi-function strap easily adjusts this bag to be worn on the wrist, crossbody, over the shoulder, even the waist (yea, like a fanny back. If that’s you’re thing). Or for a more polished look, remove it all together and carry it as a clutch.
What I love most about this clutch is that it incorporates 3 of my favorite trends at the moment: A handheld clutch that can take you from day-to-night, a hint of studs, and a pop of color. I’m usually not one for green clutches, but this Valentino in yummy green is kind of a big deal. In person the color is even more gorgeous ~ I would say it’s more of a Golden Delicious than a sour apple.
I’m extremely girly and there’s nothing I love more than extra feminine fashion. I’m a bit extreme, I know, and most stylists would probably tell me to grow up. I tend to like all different types of styles though. The styles I like include simple, glamorous, classy, edgy and definitely girly. I love pink, I love crystals and I pretty much love everything a “girly girl” would like. One thing is for sure, I’ve always loved bows. Anything that has a bow on it always looks a bit more prettier, at least I like to believe so.
If there’s something more romantic than Valentino bows, it’s got to be Valentino’s choice of Aves this season; simply check out the Embellished Parrot Clutch for yourself. I love the various details on this clutch; it’s truly difficult to focus your eyes on one single feature.
A mesmerized array of multicolor stones lines a peach hued silhouette of lovely satin. Soft green, pink, and yellow stones bring a calming sense of warm climate vibes versus the popular crimsons and dusks of the season right now. Keeping in mind that this is a statement piece restricted to glamorous outings only, the colors of choice are acceptable for any elegant event, regardless of the season.
I recently purchased a pair of Tiffany & Co. sunglasses and ever since I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the color turquoise. The color is so light and stunning in person that it’s easy to become obsessed with it. I even want my iPhone and Mac Book Pro covers changed to the beautiful color. The whole Tiffany brand is centered around turquoise and whoever thought to use that breathtaking color is a genius!
With that said, when I saw the Valentino “Glam Lock” Bag is turquoise my mouth dropped! The color is very similar to the gorgeous Tiffany color and the bag is absolutely gorgeous. This is a show stopping “it” bag for me. Handbags come out everyday but very few leave you speechless. If I owned this bag it would hands down be one of my favorite bags in my collection. This is also the type of bag I wouldn’t use very often. I would bring it out for special occasions and that’s it!
The stud trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere just yet! It seems like every season, more and more designers are getting in on the endless stud trend. I’m not one for trends but I do love studs! Studs add some pizazz to a handbag and not to mention make it a little more edgier looking. I’m such a girly girl that I’ve always been into the edgy look. It’s kind of like I get to play dress up on that particular day because that’s not normally my style.
