Sass & Bide was founded in 1999 by Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke. The label was originally intended to be a sexy skinny jeans line, but it expanded into a full clothing line after only two years. Probably about ten years ago, I purchased a purse on eBay that literally looked like a bustier. It was white with pink lace lining and it was actually really cute. There is no doubt that Kooba is still near the top of my list of favorite handbag designers. Out of sight does not necessarily mean out of mind.
