Yves Saint Laurent at Nordstrom
Fashionista’s get excited! Now, there’s one more place that offers Yves Saint Laurent to make it more accessible. Nordstrom! Available online and in stores, you can find some of your favorite items from the line. Amazing shoes and better yet some of my favorite handbag designs!
You know I’m enthusiastic about the Roady. Nordstrom has it in Ocean (similar to Marine at Saks) for $1295 and also in a beautiful white ivory and nero (black) trim for $1795. The white ivory option is quite lovely. The juxtaposition of the black trim and handle are a nod to this season’s interest in color-blocking without being overly trendy. Which is a good thing as this is a bag that you will carry for years to come. Since ivory is an all season color, you’ll be able to carry it year-round!
Nordstrom is also offering another favorite Yves Saint Laurent bag the Muse Two. The first time I saw this bag was in the airport and I could not quit eyeing this bag. I’m sure the lady thought I was some sort of a stalker…I guess she was right, because I was lusting after that bag! Nordstrom offers the versatile Gianduia (medium brown) color that would be perfect for casual everyday wear. The canvas strap enhances the casual vibe and gives it a safari feel. Can you just see this with some of the season’s hot trench coats? Amazing! $1495 for a bag that will just get better with age.
The Chyc leather clutch is stunning in it’s own right. Beautifully linen textured Italian leather in a classic flap closure with a subtle and chic tortoiseshell “Y”. Measuring 11″ x 7″ x 1″, it will be your go to clutch for many occasions and many years to come.

Personally, I think that it may be a little expensive for the Nordstrom’s custormer, but I like that they are offering luxury brands.
I like the Roady and the Muse. The others are just okay.
I disagree. I guess it depends on the area of the country you live in… around here Nordstrom’s only carries luxury designers.
Our Nordstrom’s carry Valentino and other designers, but they are always on sale and sit there for months. Our Nordy’s also carries Coach, Dooney, Juicy Couture. Houston has a pretty strong luxury base, but I don’t think that they can compete in our mall with Saks and Neiman’s along with our Chanel, Kate Spade, Valentino, Versace, Armani, Carolina Herrera, etc. free standing boutiques. And this is not even the entire list.
I want a bag in that new ocean color. It’s so pretty

The Roady is very much alike the Louis V Artsy and I just can`t dig that. On the other hand, the Domed satched is fa bu lous in both style and color :)
