Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc Tote
Fringe on handbags is one of those recurring trends. So much so, that it really can’t be called a trend anymore. What I find interesting is the variations that come with each passing season. What I mean is, there are trends within this trend. Check out the Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc and you will see what I mean.
What do I see when I look at this bag? Fringe, of course! It isn’t fringe in the traditional sense, but it IS fringe nonetheless. I’m talking about those raw edges on the linen fabric. They create a fringe that is short, stubby, and gorgeous! I love it! The linen fabric itself isn’t half bad either. I like the rich texture and the deep red color (called Poppy). Add some white leather trim and you now have yourself a great-looking handbag that is light and airy. It would be perfect for Spring and would look great paired with something navy! This bag has such a fresh look, I wouldn’t have recognized it as a variation of the Cabas Chyc East/West Bag if it hadn’t been for the signature “Y” closure staring back at me! You know a designer is doing something right if they are able to make an old style look new again!

I am wanting this bag so so bad
Is the fringe just a trend?
I have this bag but it doesn’t have the fringe.. I prefer mine as it can be worn more, year-round, whereas this seams more summery.
I like it, but kinda hesitant because it has fringe. Kinda too trendy for me.
I love YSL handbags, especially the Chyc collection!!
Not crazy about those white handles
But love this bag though!
